Okay, say I take it that DP, Elshaugh and Mitchell work out game plans and set plays while TD and Dempsey are developmental and specialist positional coaches.
That leaves Liberatore. What does he do?
There was talk last year that Libba was a tackling coach. Is that true?
If not, what did he specifically do and what is his specific role now and for next year?
If he is just a cone carrier is his paycheck justifiable or is he an important part of the coaching panel?

He is there to make Eddie Betts feel he's not too short to play AFL

In the off-season, I think he's doing casual work as one of Santa's elves in Myer.

Or appearing as Ugly, the 8th dwarf in a panto of Snow White.

Libba looks after the midfield and has been doing it since he was appointed.

I hoped this thread was going to be a bout his hair, what is he doing with his hair? I don't care about his coaching role.

Libba's a PLP.

Public Leaning Post.

Something for the players to put their elbow on his head and rst up against after their time trial. Maybe rest their drink bottle on his head while they chase after a footy.

I think a few people would have liked to see him pass on some of his tackling skills and a bit of mongrel and so thats why he was mentioned as a tackling coach. In reality I don't think teams can afford to have a tackling coach.

Pity none of it has rubbed off on the players, it was about the only plus I saw in his appointment and basically we suck at both tackling adn being mongrels.
