One of my favourite spots to have lunch is The Fitz in Brunswick St. Of course the owner is the imcomparable Mil Hanna. While having lunch I there today I got to thinking. What are the 95 team doing now? or the 87 team? Some we know about ( SOS and Williams etcb) but what about the lesser known players? Clues anybody? |

I reckon Dean Rice is at the bottom of a trench backing up his mates. I actually played half a game of cricket a few years ago and played away on a Sunday at Mitcham. Who rocks up too play with us but Ricey. Funny standing in slips next to him. Playe the first day of the two day game, but following Saturday has his bucks night so didn't turn up for the next Sunday. Even used my bat and got a shit LBW.

His brother is the person who is more passionate and especially Michelle. And you must go at weird times Mark... But no offence to Mil or Michael.. but its not a good food/ coffee place.. it used to be but times have changed. |

Thats not top say he never sets foot in the place though.. considering he has the lions share. But glad you enjoyed it. Mils a great guy!! So is his family. Would have told you that he belives players should start looking after the club alittle more rather than taking alone??? |

Im not sure if i have a fravourite place in Brunswick street anymore.. its lost its spontanuity... Actually just about everywhere has..... One place coming along doing some good things is Carlisle Street.... but i dont think any of our 95 Flag side have anything to do with it. Well Fraser Brown has a huge excavating business and a developer. Touted by some as a future board member and maybe a president.. though i do find the last bit abit hard to believe. |

Here's a few snippets that I'm aware of ... Peter Dean got the job coaching at the Murray Bushrangers and recently bought a house (in Albury I think). Michael Sexton sits on the AFL tribunal panel and rules committee and runs Sexton Chiropractic along with several family members. Justin Madden is the Minister for Sport and Recreation. Matt Clape was director of football at Guildford Grammar school in WA but is apparently now in private business over there. Ang Christou is a restauranteur somewhere in Greece. Stepehn Silvagni is an assistant coach with the Doggies and a channel ten commentator. Greg Williams is involved in a printing business and property development. Brad Pearce is the venue booker (and is otherwise involved) with the Hi-Fi Bar and Ballroom in Swanston St. Glen Manton is a boundary-rider for the Fox Footy Channel. Craig Bradley is in a printing business. Earl Spalding is a skills coach with Fremantle in the AFL and also works as a sales rep. Andrew McKay sits on the AFL tribunal panel and works as a vetrinarien. |
