Good to have TD on board. Has always come across as a no-nonsense good bloke. :)

It was upsetting to see him not get the assistant's role last time he was in the running against Libba a few years back.

A good result this time. Tezza as a laid back, down to earth type of bloke is a perfect foil for Pagan's more strict style of player management.

Wrapped to have him.He an excellent one to one coach and the players will learn heaps from him.
Terry is too nice to admit that he was a scapegoat for Malthouse and Thomas.Their loss is our gain.Glad to have ya on board TD.

Not interested in him - seems a bit of a jinx according to this quote:

Quote:
He had one year with losing preliminary finalist Collingwood in 2003, followed by two years with the Saints, who were beaten preliminary finalists both years.

So we're going to lose a preliminary final next year? WHAT GOOD IS HE TO US THEN?

That's a team view of his success HTP, but let's have a look at his success with individual players.

It's fair to say that Riewoldt was easily one of the most, if not the most, dominant CHF in the comp back in 2004. Terry was coaching the forward line in that year. In 2005, he was asked to coach the backline instead of the forward line. The result? Maguire and Fisher become better players and Riewoldt has an average year.

I rate him as a coach and I reckon we got him at the right time. He is going to do wonders for Fev.

I was a bit non plussed by TD's appointment, but reports form those closer to the action seem to indicate he is having a positive influence out on the track, and I guess that's just what we need. 8)

Half the age yet twice the maturity - jeez I hope I've slept with more women than you have, PJ

I hope his influence is as black and white as you say - I also hope that him getting the boot from his last two [three?] jobs is because of reasons not related to his skill set. Oh, but then again I don't - if you know what I mean

Not sure why he was given the sack at Essendon* or Collingwood. But there were rumours flying around, even on here, that he was given the boot at the Saints because he said something to "Rice Bubbles" that he didn't like and the next day was asked to clear out his locker.

Got to admit i really didnt care too much about getting this guy on board.Really wanted Ashcroft instead of Libba actually. We gotta get some fresh young guys straight out of the game onto our coaching panel.
HOWEVER,it is pretty obvious Terry is having a positive effect on the playing group.
I think with Denis and Terry its the old good cop,bad cop thing.Sounds like that country bumkin howdy folks you have a good time now approach is working beautifully in tandem with the Denis i'll take no shit approach.Sounds like there poles apart style's are actually complimenting each other. Some of you guys probably reckon Terry is too nice. But remember,a kind word never hurt anybody. Also terry is generally regarde as a bloody good allround bloke. That being the case, you cant have too many good blokes around the place can you ?

which prelim did he lose?

collingwood actually won that prelim, but of course went on to lose GF. christ, it's not that long ago, you'd think the journo would be able to remember the finals series 2 seasons ago!!!

at the time, there was word that he bollocked malthouse for playing jason cloke at CHF in the GF and got the sack ... don't know how true that is.

TD is regarded at filth-land as having brought the best out of tarrant

I think he asked cornflakes how much it cost to live in a house on the beach in Brighton.
