Hark I hear - A Blue Carol: No, not the angels singing, just a small murmuring, the fresh heartbeat of a newborn babe (for you Mike) - a tiny whispering... A storm before it has begun, the way the trees shiver and leaves catch the hint of what's to come. A soft breath like a lover's lips upon your neck in the darkness after love has been reclaimed yet again. A small pebble tossed in the lake; ripples, soft laps at the edge. Something begins... It is from the small things that big things emerge: a Marc Murphy pass a Tex grab Hartlett holding down a spot Livo injury free Bower running Edwards emulating dad AB crashing a pack Simmo dashing down the wing T-Bird's cool Carrot's eagerness to take 'em on. It is the way new things breathe life into old legs. It is the lull before the fullblown storm; before the gale before the clouds have even gathered. It is how things start and no one notices until they look back. This summer, this idyll before 2006, is a beginning. Be excited Be very excited! The Bluebagger swamp rats are coming and this time they'll stay. |

Pleasantly pissed after Christmas lunch, log on to read a danny special... if everyone saw the world like you do dan, there'd be less conflict, more beauty and a damn sight more happiness. Of course on the flipside, supermarket queues would be a freaking nightmare (the obligitory 5min chat between customer and checkout chick, you understand)... but that'd be a small price to pay, wouldn't it. thanks for your words. |
