I have almost finished a section on the Blueseum called the 'Locker Room'. Pretty excited by this, reckon it will be a great resource.

It can be found here: http://www.blueseum.org/tiki-index.php?page=Locker+Room

In it you can find every player to have played under each Guernsey number at Carlton (the jumper they played the most games in).

It's not quite finished yet, with some more data that needs to be input, and everything need to be double checked as well. But it is good enough to browse so you get a bit of an idea about it.

Let me know what you think. If you have any suggestions let me know.

Cheers.

You do that all by yourself?
Now I have somewhere to look for info on past players because the official site is useless.

Very impressive Jarusa. Even genuine pictures of the lockers as well.

With respect to names on lockers and probably its for another thread - I know you need 100 games to qualify, but in special circumstances such as a Peter Bosustow or Brent Crosswell who are dual Premiership Players do you think they should get their name on a locker??? But if you go by that criteria I suppose you have to have Mario Bortolotto as well.

All of the research behind the player names etc. for the Locker Room comes from a guy on the Carlton Historical committee. He has spent countless hours researching the history of the club (he should be given Life Membership IMO). He has graciously given me access to his data, my job is to present it in a way that is interesting and accessible.

WRT the official site, the aim is one day for it to become a part of the official site.

Apparently there has been some controversy with a couple of names that some history boffins at the club think should be on lockers and some that shouldn't.

some players played a lot of games before numbers were used (pre-1911)and may have only played just a few games in a particular number, etc.

Would love to see the Buzz's name on a locker too, the 100 game criteria can bring up an eclectic mix of players on the lockers.

 Luckily he only played one season in 4, so it was not his 'main' number.

 I just noticed the $ symbol is above the 4 on my keyboard. Spooky.

Can you flick each other with wet towels in there?

Maybe there's an addition you can make....

Looks good Jarusa. great idea, that one

I posted a question in there about whether the Locker Room should be a full resource of all players or just those who played games? I know players like David Nicholson (#37 for a season) don't get a biography but for assistance on trivia questions it may be useful listing all players somewhere on Blueseum? Just a thought, no biggy if you can't do it and I guess it would be very difficult to source such information, especially if Williamson didn't collate it.

Well you both have done a remarkable job so far that all Carlton fanatics would be grateful for.

I second that, and yes, the guy deserves a Life Membership.

Make that a condition of handing over the "Locker Room" to the club...It's the least they can do.

One small gripe, when were the locker photos taken, as the pups name is not on the number 27 locker.
Terrific site though, Thanks

They are from a few years ago, so there are a few names missing, e.g. Fev, Hulme.

Will contact the club and try to get updated pics of the lockers early next year.
