I don't mind an "end of his career" player leaving us for another club.....it's Hamill and Camporeale leaving the Navy Blue Jumper that sticks in my craw....how could they do that? I can't imagine a Carlton supporter switching to another club....how or why would you do that....how COULD you do that? The hatred that you feel toward certain Clubs as a Carlton player like Collingwood and Essendon* is part of your pysche as soon as you enter PP; how do you then don (little pun there) an Essendon* jumper without feeling ill?.....worse....how do you face the proposition that you're going to go into mortal combat against your Carlton team mates in a game? Your buddies that you've celebrated winning a Premiership with? Your buddies that you've bled for and with?....that you've cried for and with?....that have been an integral part of your life for over 10 years? Can you imagine the Dominator in a Collingwood jumper?....he couldn't. Can you imagine Doull?..Kernahan?..Peter Dean?..of course you can't. I'm sorry; but I've got no time for a human being who can desert the Carlton guernsey like that....they're not fair dinkum Carlton....they were lucky enough to stay with us for awhile....I hope they appreciate that one day.....because all the memories I had of them as Carlton players has sadly been replaced by a feeling of betrayal. And thats a shame....but....I pray they'll rue the day they left! C'mon Blues! _________________ |

Hamill played in the last GF of his career in a Carlton jumper - it was al downhill for him after that. Campo ditto. They have paid and will continue to pay the price for besmirching the Monogram. I will never, ever forgive these two rats for what they have done to this club. I still snarl and get pissed off when I think about Dennis Banks' low dog act of king hitting Rhys. The name Sean Denham still fills me with rage. Campo and Hamill are now in the same bracket. F*ck 'em. |

I am looking forward....I'm not worried about the past; that's how I'm able to talk about it. I'm just intrigued by some individuals lack of respect for the Carlton jumper. |

Hamill's service to the Saints particularly during recent finals will stick in my mind the most ![]() The club is better without people who don't want too be there, or who bring negativity towars the team. |

Campo left Carlton when hes hes best years were behind him. Hammill left Carlton at his prime. Although an old Campo supporter he did service the club and left when his contract expired. It doesnt bother me because i know we as a club will be better off from it in a few years. |

I think warby is after a 10 pager. ![]() Campo and Hamill, it should be a monty. Yes, players who have left the Blues under dodgy circumstances do deserve to be treated differently by the supporters. Thankfully we have not had too many of them. |

Deano is correct...again. Quote: They have paid and will continue to pay the price for besmirching the Monogram.
Best. Quote. Ever. |

I don't think you can compare the two. Whatever you think of Campo's last couple of seasons at least we got something out of him as a player. That judas Hamill was nurtured by the club and given the number 4 and turned around and spat on it. |

Whatever we all think about Hammill, if $ was a factor (& with Dave Allison pissing in his pocket, it was), Hammill had a chance to double his pay packet. So he did. Meanwhile blokes like Power, Kosi & Bartel all stay at their original clubs for the lower amount. Says a lot about different motivators in people. |

I agree with the majority on this one re Hamill - hes just a money grabbing pig. However IMO I don't really believe his output since he left us at the Saints has been world beating. I think he is in the shadow of Riewoldt and always will be. That kind of pressure has seen his (Hamills) gameday performances be average at best in general.... |

Campo's career is over and he will join Allen and Murphy as recent Essendon* recuiting triumps... Hammill's career is shaky at best - keep an eye out for reports about his hip Wet |
