holding a meeting on the future of the social club. It seems its now near defunct... and all financial matters will most likely go through the footy club board. The social club still has to sign off on it.. and there might be a negotiated settlement.(SC board directors to merge with the CFC board at some capacity.... Might have some news in the media tomorrow.(Caroline Wilson??) |

By the way this also paves the way for the long awaited redevelopment. The Game.. leaving Optus did not mean money would grow on trees..what it did mean is we become part of the new millenium not the last one... |

Sorry Synbad but I do not believe you could create one decent high level board from the rif raf we have on our two. We need a complete clean out. Another nice little stalling, power hugging stragetgy from Collo and his cronies. |

Synbad in order to be foward thinkers the club has to be in a better situation financialy with such debt and lack of cash flow how can the club in inivative when most times you need to spend money to make money and our club has no money. Thats why the club is going to the AFL for assistance so it can operate and get the ball rolling, yeah the new administration have been in power now for 4 years they doind a better job than the last. Before Collo left Carlton, the club had 4 million dollars in the bank he returned back to the club with a debt of 4 million dollars, we lost 8 million in that period. The likes of Collingwood, Saints, Melbourne they had no debt so they had to make minor adjustments and away they go we are 8 million behind the pack so how can any of you expect to turn it around so fast especially when we making no profit theres no cash flow we in a dire situation and its going to take time. |

ballistic blues... you are probably a better progressive thinker when you have no money cos youre forced to think outside of the square.... thats what desperation makes you do. |
