http://afl.com.au/default.asp?pg=news&s ... eid=249282 'Carlton: 0.3 3.5 Port Adelaide: 5.7 12.8 Warren Tredrea has booted three goals for Port, Shannon Motlop has kicked two, as has Brendon Lade. Port's backline is well on top, with Chad Cornes, Brad Symes and Peter Walsh running the ball out of defence at will. Justin Davies has looked lively up forward for the Blues and has kicked a goal.' |

Completely @#$%&! ridiculous. I've been there, now at an internet cafe... will return in 20 minutes or so in time for last quarter. Hope we are going a little better. At the moment it's the usual Whitnall, Lappin both playing well. Kouta not bad, Fevola often tag teamed and struggling a little. Walker seems to be holding his own on Motlop. I Wanna see Pagan give some more game time to murphy who has looked lively when he has been on. Really an absolute comedy of errors to bhe honest. I have seen very few positives if any. It seems like another @#$%&! terrible year. How much of this can we supporters take. That's why i've tried to be more laid-back in my support of carlton cos the dissappointment is way too much week in week out. Fisher is doing ok, simmo could be in for a fair year, seriously i don't know what real positives to come up with. Murphy looks a very good prospect, thats probably the best positive. Stevens has struggled. Whitnall propably best on ground with Lappin and Houlihan pretty good also. |

Third Qtr: Ok....this is the last one as i've had enough now... ![]() ![]() Port: 16. 10 106 Blues: 4. 5 29 This looks like a 100 points thrashing and to allow over 100 points mid way through the 3rd quarter is just ridiculous... ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Back in the glory years, such as '79-'82, we never used to win practice matches. It wasn't important then, and it's no more important now. |

It wasn't important then, and it's no more important now. I really hope you are right and they start to play better when the real stuff starts because these huge losses really shouldn't be happening.. |

Its a fricken practice match played in extreme heat, we put up a impressive performnace against the cats and Port were smashed by the crows so they got egg on there face from last week. Anyway we all know we in for another tought year lets ride the bumps support the team, support the staff |

Don't get me wrong, i am not bagging the team and would never do that...I am just dissapointed that we are losing by THIS much...I thought we were over that, even in a practice match...I will support Carlton throughout the year no matter what as i have done since i can remember...Basically, like the rest of you, i am just frustrated because i want them to do well... |

You can not get caught up in practice matches come round one its a different story each player has the one mind set and thats to win and do what ever it takes to win...... after a few rounds into the the season then such comments like those above can be made but now expect the unexpected |
