It's also simple courtesy, in my books. I have a name of which there are 5 or so variants, and invariably no-one ever thinks of, and I don't get upset if someone spells my name incorrectly the first time, but if I have told them how it's spelled, then I expect them to get it right. it's a matter of respect. |
