I *think* it is tax deductible.
I *think* you get your name on a plaque on the stand.
I *think* you might get to meet Kouta.

Very helpful I *know*.

Thought for the day:
If 25,000 of our supporters/members gave $280 each we would have covered the $7mill debt. :-D

I gave $300 the other day for a raffle ticket. Make that 24,999 to go.

Woof, I bought a $300 ticket last year and nearly lost my wife when she found out. So it's good value either way.
(Poor dear still thinks Brad Fisher is coming to her work for a BBQ :) )
Only joking Darling Brad is on his way, go and make a salad.

Good question, Ryan 2000.

I think it is great that supporters are willing to give and give and give to this club.

What i would like to see at the same time is the ex-players and players also giving to the club. Do they want to represent a club that is no longer around due in part to their greed ?

I think if you have a look at the list of carlton heroes you will find more players from the 1980's who gave money (despite them earning less) than you will from the 1990's.

Manton
Bradley
McKay
Sexton
Brown
Madden

All these guys can surely spare $1000-$5000 to help out the club?

Apart from what they made from playing football, all those have gone on to have successful careers post football.

They could be possibly making contributions and the public don't know about it? For example Justin Madden assisted with ruck coaching last year, does anyone know if he got paid?
