I know that on paper Melbourne has us covered in most positions BUT footy is not played on paper, and as long as we turn up witht the right attitude we are in with a shot.

The beauty of Round 1 is that we dont have any negative thoughts to cloud our judgement, we are just happy to see our beloved blues back on the paddock giving their all. Its a clean slate, the pain of the last 4 years is a distant memory and its all about now.

On paper they're not that far ahead of us. Plenty of blokes to run rings around us but nothing to kick to or man up on our talls.

If we can pressure their mids then the rest will break down. Geelong did this successfully to knock them out of the finals last year and lots of teams worked this out.

They're still trying to stop gaps when it comes to recruiting talls. Surely they're going to spend their first 3 picks on talls this draft unless they see a mid they can't pass. Not like they haven't done that before...
