During the dry season/winter months it can be high twenties during the day and zero at night with it getting pretty cold soon after nightfall.

I haven't visited Alice for a few weeks ( it's just 1500 k away) but I understand that recently it has been mid thirties during the day and only dropping to 26 or so at night.

If you are planning to visit JW it would be prudent to take a jacket...

no, in AFL they are called goals and hopefuly we score more than 2, maybe 5 or 6 is more realistic.

Do you mean that in the sense of:

a/ if we don't have another go we will never know.

b/ what indications will we get that they are not trying.

I just firmly believe that last weeks effort no matter how you look at it was fairly ordinary, and we are not in the position where we should be losing by over 10 goals (there is enough talent to be competitive).

So what you're all saying is, we'll never never know if we never never go?

I'm hoping we put in a much more competitive performance this week. We could struggle to get past 30,000 members if we don't show some guts and compete on the field...

The next few weeks prove critical!...

I'm looking forward to reading a very "positive" match report on carltonfc.com tomorrow

I wonder how we're going?

Murphy, O'hAilpin, Russell?

I wonder how Denniss is feeling at the moment?

Well, it starts late. Looks like AFL.com.au is doing updates as the game between Hawks and Bombers is reported by posting quarter time scores. Assume they do the same with our game.

The game itself starts in 20 minutes.

However, the Bendigo game which started at 7 pm (Hawks vs Dons) only had the quarter-time updates posted at 8 pm.

It doesn't augur well for afl.com.au :(
