Post subject: | Membership Breakdown |
Does anyone actually know the breakdown of our membership revenue in terms of silver, gold, social club? I would of thought its not the number of members a club has, but the type of membership they have, obvously the more members buying higher value memberships being the ideal scenario, or am i wrong? |

No you are not, and I suspect the club will not release the numbers. I have been a SC member for many years and always on the "top" membership and from my conversations I have a very strong gut feel that the club has had a loss of "premium" members. Firstly the move away from PP did upset a lot of oldies in the SC and the lack of "premium" in the new premium seating membership has also upset many. So my guess is that the club has lost quite a few SC members or had members downgrade their membership. This is an issue the Board needs to have a look at. It is not just an issue of "how many members" but how much revenue from members... |

Another issue is what can they offer beyond current membership deals - probably not much. So if you want to increase membership revenue you have two options: - Increase members (shock horror) OR - Increase the profit margin (ie. increase prices) Aside from a better marketing campaign and ringing more cash out of your wallet, they're doing all they can. |

The other option is to reduce the fixed costs for providing membership access, but admittedly it seems less of an option now that we have signed a 10 year tenancy at the most expensive venue in the league... maybe we could save money by playing low attendance games elsewhere... oh yeah - part of that deal was to play the balance of our games at the G. |

It was for many (including myself). Mine is much better this year - however I know many people were very pissed off last year. |
