The evolvement of Kade Simpson continues to amaze me. I was one who doubted that this once frail skinny kid would be able to stand the rigours of AFL. I'm ecstatic he's made it. Confidence is an amazing thing and in Simmo's case CONFIDENCE is the key word. Congratulations to Simmo and all the people involved with his progress. He IS a very exciting playmaker for the blues and I look forward to many more years of Simmo strutting his stuff. |

Yep, simmo has come a long long way from his donuts first 2-3 games.... Credit to the kid who stuck it out and did the hard yards. Love it when goes for his runs along the wing, not afraid to take the ball and run, something we have been lacking for a while. |

I agree i also like watching Simpson playing. He will play a similar role to Camporeale in his career. (I dont mean easy kicks and money hungry) He is a great playmaker who finds the freedom to run and can put attacking pressue on the defence. He has good disposals and give him a few years and could be a class A player known by all supporters. |

![]() Great skills and speed, but also COURAGE....did not shirk a contest, went in hard every time Thats it. He killed the VFL, now he has the confidence in the AFL he will be a star. When Simmo is one on one you would have to back him 80% of the time to win the contest, as sign of a player in form. |

Great, gusty fast performance tonight by Slimmo, among others, many of them young. But one thing budzy, the key words to me are Maturity and Opportunity. Simmo never lacked confidence. He never lacked the desire to take on opponents far larger than he. You should have seen his first few VFL games - just dash, dash and more dash. |

Amazing isn't it. To think if you actually give a talented kid some time to find his feet in the VFL he might actually make an impact in the AFL a few years later. Wonders never cease. ![]() ![]() Regards Cazzesman |

I love his attack on the ball, and his confidence to run and bounce. He's looking set to carve out a brilliant career. |

Wonders never cease. ![]() ![]() Tee hee ![]() It was good enough for Michael Tuck, and you'd think that it would be seen as a way to bring on underdone players. Maybe now we might wait a little bit so that Russell and Blackwell are brought in when they are ready ![]() The thing I was most impressed by was Simmo's willingness to put his body on the line. I loved the way that he ran back into the hole and took both the mark and the hit to stem Demon attacks. In some ways given his body, he is going beyond the call of duty, but he doesn't hesitate to do it at all. And of course he showed the same courage when displaying composure entering the F50 - no panicking, he would calmly see the opportunity and seize it. Flipsides of the same coin - courage under pressure. Go Simmo - WooHoo ![]() |

To quote my Collingwood mate, who put his dosh on the Blues on my recommedation this week: "number 6 has been everywhere, and done everything tonight" Was very impressed. And I say that because I've always thought Simmo hasd future star written all over him but hearing it from a neutral observer is sweet as ![]() He thought Murphy was awesome as well (given it was his first game n' all), for the record! |
