I was blown away by our team tonight , did not see a weak link, I started thinking about who played tonight and there was not 1 passenger, which is the first time in few years I have said that about a Carlton team.

Carrazzo - Very Solid all game. Touch of class

Livingston - Worked really hard, showed some agression

Walker - Greased Lightening, he was so quick, and applied pressure all night.

Thornton - Played the backline Generals role, showed leadership and a cool head.

Whitnall- 100% CLASS, used his body brilliantly, great defensive game.

Lappin- Great Sweeper role, Craig Bradley like standards.

Simpson- everything he did had class stamped all over it, very cool head for such a young player.

Scotland - His best game in Blue I reckon. RAn hard as ever.

Stevens - tried hard, but I thought he was a bit rusty early, worked his way into the game well though.

Houlihan- Great running performance , one of his best games yet for the Blues.

Waite - Started to take the game by the throat, at his best he is Kouta -like, saw his most confident game tonight.

Fisher - bit rusty I thought, but allways potentially dangerous.

Deluca - held a few grabs, still a bit soft for my liking though, but one of his better games I thought.

Fevola - I have NEVER seen Fev work harder, great disciplined game.

Betts - forced turnovers should be a stat because Eddie would be the competition leader in it. Led the way in that regard.

French - Great game, negated White and used his body well.

Koutoufides - solid, it was veryones elses turn tonight.

Murphy- Rolls Royce, grace under pressure, @nd best debut I've seen in the past 9 years! Merc Murphy is a ripper!! :-D

Bentick- Bullocked, those weights must be helping Cazesman!

McGrath- Repelled so many Melbourne attacks, kept his head under pressure and showed physical presence all night, I was super impressed by McGrath, he should be in the 18 every week Ireckon.

McClaren- Put his body in and had a presence, not the class of a WHite, but he held his own in the ruck.

Sporn - Gee watching Sporn tonight, I thought he might not make it, but he improved as the night went on and maybe needs some confidence to become a player yet?

All players got pretty good game time tonight, for a change, but I was so impressed by our boys tonight. Although I was confident all week we would win. Great effort a full list performance tonight. GO BLUES!!!

Had an outstanding 3rd quarter that won the game for us more so than any other player

I thought he was our only player that Melbourne put any real effort into tagging, he had 2 demons on top of him everytime he got the footy, so a lot of his posessions were under severe presure, but to his credit he shrugged that off and became a valuable player. He forced the ball forward and dominated clearances for the second half.

Thought a majority of Steven's disposal was terrible.
Missed targets he normall would hit.
Got better in the 4th, but overall his disposal was ordinary.
