I might set up some blue polls to see if it the Buzz's best effort yet? ![]() Thanking muchly for indeedy support, camelboy, but the phrase is actually Blue Poles which was derived from the top heavy forward line of Nicholls, Walls and Jesaulenko in the 1972 Grand Final . This forward line provided the inspiration for Jackson Pollock to create this controversial art piece Blue Poles, currently in the National Gallery. Richmond Back Pocket Laurie Fowler was reputedly so incensed by Pollock abandoning his classic painting technique for a new abstract transitional style that he promptly floored John Nicholls in the Grand Final the following year. |
