They dropped Livos because they dont believe in Livo after 6 quarters of footy.. where i reckon he broke even.

Well? He got smashed by a second rate forward last week in the first half and sat on the bench for the rest of the match. Have we really sunk so low that Livo's effort last week is considered doing "well"?

I don't think there's a match up for him in the Sydney side apart from Hall and after last week Lance and Tbird deserve to have first crack at Hall and O'Loughlin. We do need more run against a side like the Swans and Teague might release another backman to play further up the ground.

McPharlin isn't second-rate - he finished off last looking like he was going to be a contender for the Coleman this year. Very blessed in terms of his physique.

Anyway, how come you started a thread not about Fev? You must be really worried mate. :P

Livo has no match up this week. That simple.

Livo has no match up this week. That simple.

First rate: Pavlich, Riewoldt, Gehrig, Fevola, Lloyd, Brown, Tredrea, Hall, Richo (arguably)

Second rate: McPharlin

He's not a bad forward, in fact he's pretty good, but he's hardly in the top bracket of class tall forwards.

No match-up.

Lets face it, we're going to flood like buggery and so are they and the team who floods the best will win. Ergo, we needed the extra runner.

No match up?

Who is the match up for Hall?
I've seen Him absolutely smash T/Bird.
Who's the back up? Teague?

Hall can be the difference. There should be a contingency in place.

Why else would they pick him? :?

Livo would look like a bigger goose on Hall than T-Bird ever would. I rate T-Bird going on last year's efforts.

What are the odds of Waite lining up this week or being replaced by the third emergency?

Don't know any other full back that gets dropped every time there's no apparent match up. Does he come back next time there is one? Anyway what's Hall, especially if he beats Thornton?

im just saying that with our defence being one of our weaknesses why would we not have one of our key defenders.

I don't think we have a match up for Livo because he's too slow. Hall is a big bugger but also quite quick who does push up the ground a lot. If Livo was on him it would be a horror show.

T-Bird is the best option for Hall. Whitnall or Teague will be the loose man.

Hoe come Lance always is a loose man... and the others get sacrificed on the huge blokes when Lance is on the big bux.. hes 190cms and 100 kgs???

Is it because he cant play on any of those blokes... and Livo or Teague or T Bird have to week in week out .. playing on blokes bigger than them and having their careers ruined by a loss of faith???

Whitnall's always the loose man because he reads the play better than anyone else. But I do understand where you're coming from Synbad, he should be made accountable like everyone else.

I thought Chambers or Deluca would lose their spot this week, while Livingston would at least get another game, i can almost bet $1000,that he will not be retain after this year,it's not a good sign, especially as Teague is back in favor and Saddington and Bannister are soon to be selected.

Livingston is now really going to find it tough, unless he puts some super performance, good luck to him, because they made it even harder now he is dropped.

I'd rephrase that to...

They dropped Livo because they dont believe in Livo after 40+ games in 6 years..........
