Gee huge game next week. I don't want to speak too soon but our first home game looks like it's going to be against the reigning premiers still searching for their first win. Port are six goals up at half-time and would be further ahead if they could kick straight.

Yep, no doubt Robert Walls will write an article about Sydney this week putting them under the pump as he did with Freo last week.

Well given the way The Swans are playing, looks likely

Well the swannies have given up another 3 goals in 5 minutes after half-time so I'm sure RW is sharpening his pencil as we type.

Going by what I've seen of Sydney today, we shouldn't be too worried. They're all over the place, and can't get their positioning right, nor their matchups.

And a lot of senior players are squibbing it: Govong up chases, no second efforts, stuff like that. Bobby Skilton was pretty scathing in a halftiime interview.

They're going to get a heap of media pressure on them this week but we play similar game styles in the midfield, so it might work out ok for us.

Here's hoping Stevens, Lappin and French are ok.

Premiership hangover. Let's hope it doesn't end next week! If we're desperate enough we should beat them.

I know. We always get all the luck.

Still it's no excuse for a loss, we should've beat Freo yesterday and we should beat Sydney this week.

But this year, we're not the team that other teams are going to use to play themselves back into form.

We'll beat Sydney, based on what I've seen today.

Dont forget,we were with them for three and a half quarters last year at the same venue. They are missing Ball bigtime. No way known would i drop DeLuca. They have a ruck weakness, and this i would exploit to the max.Three ruckmen are a must next week.Make no mistake, the Swans are on the ropes, and they will be very vulnerable in height department.Gotta go at them hard one on one. When you are off the boil, the last thing you want is somebody in your face.We gotta be vicious.

Definitely!

Bring them on, and let's bring them down a notch!

Great plan save for one thing: Deluca is not a ruckman. That's the problem.

We haven't beaten Sydney for quite a while.

Time for some nice cold revenge on a platter.

If we turn up from the opening bounce we will win. If we give them an opportunity to run out some of their cobwebs early we will lose.

Nicely summed up.

We have to up the ante on the ball and get ferocious at the contest.

If we do that, then we should be able to outplay them. They're ripe for the picking at the moment, and ripe to be ground into the dirt.

You said against the walls, ROBERT WALLS, He WON'T SHUT HIS MOUTH UP THIS WEEK, ABOUT HOW THE SWANS ARE SO CRAP.
