Jordan Russell haven't heard bugger all of him this year, have we given up on him for the moment as we dont think he is ready for AFL and what about Adam Harlett he did ok preseason after a injury season last year and Anthony Raso, well Anthony shouldn't be ready for the AFL yet as this is his first full year, while Luke Blackwell should get a game soon if he plays well in the VFL. |

From I. Coutts and my observations at training at training Good Friday. Harlett inj. Russell - no where near ready. immature and under developed Raso - should he grow into his body he will be HUGE!! A big boy who currently is possibly light enougfh to ride a Melb Cup winner. Picture Simmo in his first 4 games but add a foot taller and you'll have the picture. Others are just learning the game. Setanta and his brother. Expect the brother to really make it. carlos - HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM - you know my opinion. |

Mate of mine works near Preston oval (aust motor finance oval or something now) he was there last week and saw David Teague, Eddie Betts and Setanta training. They asked him to retrieve balls - they were practicing goal kicking. He obliged and observes that Eddie was a very good kick, Teaguey was a top kick but Setanta has a few problems. He missed most shots from 50 metres, so they put him 30 metres out - and he managed to goal about one in 4 times from this distance. He likes Setanta from what he saw of him though. |
