It would be nice to see dannyboy and "friends" apologise for all that drivel they espoused about Marc M when we were hoping that he would come to us prior to the draft......

and i know he has done nothing yet.. but Josh Kennedy too... 8)

The more kids we have with ability the better were going to be.
I have no doubt Flint and Edwards will make it too.

But how quick has Murphy shown what he will be???

No, but we could do with a skiier coming off half back for easy stats. Imagine how well Campo would go for the Swans with their keepings off routine. He'd love it.

Those two goals from Simmo and Bentick were pretty special too I thought. One thing we have missed a lot of in the past few years is an attacking game from our midfielders.

Every goal from one of our midfielders is one that we don't have to force our way through a 3-1 contest with Fev, and the healthier we will be on the scoreboard.

It was great to see Stevens back on the scoreboard last night too.

he was awesome.......... his clean use of the ball, clean pick ups, head over the ball and crashing into the packs. Murph has contributed to 40% of Fev goals.

with Campo, i think Stevens really misses the link up with Campo. Them two linked up well with campo usually feeding the ball off to stevo.

Great to see the younger brigade step up last night good signs for the future.

Who was feeding Campo the ball to feed to Stevens.

Campo can watch his tv screen and see kids doing what he could have been doing over the last 5 years instead of sitting around waiting for someone to spoonfeed him.

It will all catch up to him and he will go the way of Murphy.
In fact i reckon Murphy was a better footballer . .. better skills probably want played in the same unaccountable way as Campo for as long as campo.. (Only can have one in ever team)... sulked about the same...

Shame we didnt turf out Campo and keep Murph.

Do you have tables for uncontested possessions and contested possessions?

First 10 contested will be Carlton players.
First 22 uncontested will be Sydney players.

Campo's been named to start on the bench today. A sign of where he's at. Next destination Bendigo?

Carrazzo isn't a "premier midfielder who takes the number one tagger".

Another exciting fact so far this season is that we have only been beaten in 2 out of 12 quaters of football.

The 1st quarter against Freo and the 1st one last night...

I'm happy about that. 8)

We were thrashed badly in those quarters though which cost us both games. We can't afford poor starts.

So did Sporn, Teague & Chambers. Would you say they're established members of the team?

Tony Shaw rated Campo's game today as "very quiet" & gave him 4/10.

It's strange how some quote crap commentators and journos when it supports their arguments but will can them if they bag one of our own.

Campo had 17 disposals and 7 inside 50s. Only 4 Carlton players touched the ball more yesterday. Campo hasn't set the world on fire this year but we lost him for nothing so his 17 is better than chambers or McGraths woeful displays yesterday.
If Campo had games like that this the site would be laughing at him.

True, but it's the way we are responding to those bad starts that is generating the optimism and leads me to believe we have finally turned this ship around.

If we are so good at getting the contested ball why did we play so defensively?

The team is starting to believe in itself, but do the coachs believe in the team yet?
