We should bring every kid in to play against the Hawks, what do we have to lose, no Fev, Waite or Lappin. Kennedy could get a chance, Russell, Carlos, Hartlett, Blackers, Bower, Edwards, get as many as we can in. With Simpson, Murphy and Bentick goin great, we could suprise them with the youth team lol.

Do things we normally wouldn't like playing Walker at Full Forward or something. Or put big Bryan up there kicking goals from 50+, this is a chance to try new things with the forward line.

I agree in part, but i would't throw all the kids to the wolves just for the sake of it.

I'd like to see Deluca stay in,

I'd bring in Santy and Kennedy (assuming Waite and Fish are out) we know Fev and Lappo wont be their.

i'd probably bring Santy for Fev and Kennedy for Lappo.

Saddington can go down back.

i'd try to have a forward line of:

HF : Kennedy Whitnalll Houla
FF Betts O'Halpin Deluca

something like that. it's going to be hard this week to get the right balance up forward because i want kennedy and santy to play plus i think whitnall will have to go forward this week. Plus Deluca doesn't warrant being axed on the Sydney game.

i'd consider dropping chambers for blackwell or maybe bannister who adds some felixbility. he can be used to plug holes or run a tag for the night, and to me offers more than chambers.

Most likley i reckon only one ofe Santy and Kennedy will come in, so i wouldn't be surprised if the only changes were something like this:

OUT Fevola, Lappin
IN Kennedy, Bannister/Predagast

The game. We're playing well, why would we make wholesale changes?

We should bring in Kennedy to replace Fev and add presence to the forward line. And whoever is at the Top of the queue to replace Lappin.

We can still beat the Hawks without Fev if we play well enough, there is no need to sacrifice the game completely by bringing in 5 kids.

LOLS, yeh true, i got a bit excited, im still just pissed at Fev getting suspended. Anyway if there is a change that needs to be made, a young guy should come in, insetad of guys like Davies, Bannister or Longmuir.

Well, whoever comes in, I'm hoping Denis will just let them play. Loose the reins a bit and let the youngsters have their heads. It will probably make for enjoyable footy to watch, and who knows what we might pull off.

I think Whitnall should stay down back, may as well stick with one of our strengths at present. Moving him forward would be robbing Peter to pay Paul. No point in weakening the defence also.

Anyone know why Setanta ain't getting a game? Does his form not warrant it? I thought he was playing good in the two's.

well has he earnt a spot..... you cant not reward those whose form doesn't warrant selection. The problem is that the bullants had a bye this week so few could be a little underdone

.........the game by 100 points, the respect that we have so far earned by playing competitive football, any chance of increasing the membership numbers.

that said, the inclusion of Kennedy or Setanta is definately reasonable - if they are fit

Bring the young guys in when they've earned a spot. Wouldn't bring them all in at once or we'll get smashed.

May as well give Bannister or Longmuir a chance to prove themselves before we show them the door!

I repeat, for those who don't read the whole thread.

He was quite awful against Coburg. Spilled marks left, right and centre and looked lost most of the times. Still hasn't settled in properly, IMO.
