Channel 10 news said in just under 2 hours. So that probably makes it about 7.30pm. The new president will face the media about half an hour into the meeting.

According to SEN Collo hasn't even turned up to the meeting!

Apparently some bloke called Ted Kunkel is interested in running for the board, he was the CEO of Foster's Group Limited.

:?:

No! Kunkel had to clean up the mess after Jack at Fosters..... Was CEO for a few years. Could be interesting - I do not know much about him so.

Here's some more info…

http://www.fosters.com.au/mediacentre/6 ... 6FA272.htm

Quote:
Mr Kunkel was appointed as President and CEO of Foster’s in March 1992 to oversee the rebuilding of the company. At that time, the group was facing considerable upheaval and had a seriously impaired balance sheet with high debt and gearing.

Under Mr Kunkel’s leadership, Foster’s initiated a turnaround strategy which saw the company undertake a $1 billion rights issue and complete the sell off of more than $5 billion in non-core assets.

In the mid 1990’s, with financial stability re-established and the group’s investment grade credit rating restored, Mr Kunkel’s leadership team embarked on a new strategy to build a global premium branded beverage company.

Just asking, I wasn't trying to cast aspersions.

Graham Smorgon has been elected as the 26th President of Carlton, just announced on SEN.

Sticks and John Valmorbida elected as dual Vice-Presidents.

Clock ticking at this end for first person to take a HUGE DUMP on the new President...

Interesting that John Valmorbida was elected VP. AFAIK he only just scraped in at the elelction (Clark was something like 7 votes from pushing him out). Saw him at the AGM came across as some middle aged playboy with a very high opinion of himself....

joint VP's - what's that about?

Oh hell I'm hoping that somehow cometh the hour cometh the man and all that. if not I hope there is a seriously good ticket put together to oust them at the proper time.
