Denis is about the 4th person in the last 2 weeks to rip into Maher. Rightly so to, as he's a buffoon. Speaks out of turn, speaks too much, generalises and rarely presents facts.

Just Carlton massaging the media for favours again.

Maher probably isnt that kind of guy but geez youd think you can try and keep the peace with individuals in the media who are here in peace and will try and help the club.

The morning show on SEN goes soft on the likes of Sheedy and Wallace ... anyone hear this morning's interview with Sheedy?? They let him off the hook regardless of the way his team plays. Sheedy hinted at having a go for Waite when he's off contract next ... hands off d!ckhead!

And then Maher chimes in and says how Waite is being played out of position in the backline and can't wait to return to centre half forward ... does this carlton supporter actually watch any of our games??!!!

I actually like him. He goes outside the line sometimes and ruffles feathers but holy crap, at least somebody is doing it.

Everone else in the media is scared sh1tless of McChubby, Sheedy, Collo etc - Maher has a crack and leads with the chin - I'm sure he wouldn't say anything that he hadn't heard through the industry.

I liked the way he had a crack at Mundine's manager about a possible publicity stunt with his ol' man - very possible and worth a question!! Nobody else would have had the aggots to ask the Q in the first place.

He is 1000 times better than Watson and Brownless.

You say that like it's some sort of achievement...

I don't mind Maher myself.

None of the aforementioned are a patch on Tony Jones in the f-head stakes

Rather than list all the arsehole journos out there, it would be much more time efficient to list the half decent individuals in the market;
Andy Maher - bit of a snapper but quite good.
Oxe and Huddo - Very funny blokes, Huddo the best commentator in the business.

That is all......

Or we could turn it into an argument

I think it is easier to list the bad ones, not many make you stop and think how good they are. Having said that I don't mind Clinton Gribus and as far as boundary riders go Scott Cummings is pretty good value with crowd interaction - tried to tell a joke to us on the boundary line the other week

I'm sure it was said tongue in cheek, yeah?

Whoever said Clinton Grabarse, have shame, he is a disgrace. Trots out the text book superlatives straight from the Jack Dyer/Lou Richards book of superlatives vol 2. yet doesn't have the required personality to make light of it.

Blaaaaaah, to Grabarse!!

Maher should have reminded him that Waite will be nowhere near 30 at that stage. :P
