36,900. I don't remember seeing this mentioned as yet, but let me know if it has. Seems like a fair total to me and certainly when the boys got on a roll in the 3rd quarter the vocal support from the stands was very impressive. I thought it was encouraging. And NO, this isn't a Dome v MCLP thread, just an observation. Hopefully 45-50,000 this Friday for another home game. Regards Cazzesman |

I couldn't make it Saturday night, but the crowd at the Melbourne game was as vocal and passionate as I have heard a Carlton crowd since Silvagni was taken out by Dasher Milburn at MC Labour Park. |

With the cost of petrol being so high, it's a wonder how many people we actually lose too the games: - petrol driving in - city link tolls - parking A real shame that many families probably aren't going because of these factors, but be still good too get over 45,000. |

Spoken like a sydneysider CC, there is no more Met. ![]() Its Connex now or Yarra Trams etc. I personally didnt attend cos of easter and I know a few more who were in the same boat. Also a fair percentage of Melbourne heads for holidays on Holy Thursday. So give all that, it was a decent crowd. I reckon this week will be 45000+ |

Its not so dear if youre careful 4 cans of coke poured into 2 750 ml drink bottles - coke on special at safeway at 40 cents per can. - $1.60 drive to surrey hills station - free parking - 1 litre of fuel - $1.40 Train tickets for me and blueboy - $9.30 return. Football record - $3.50 silver membership entry - pre paid. 1 pie and 1 chips - $7.90 Total of $23.80 for two. Under 12 bucks each. Actually you could probably do things like buy Aldi bottles of cola at 55 cents each or even bottled water filled from the tap with cordial from the cupboard at home, bring your own made up food as well and save another 6 bucks if you wanted to but I dont want to be that tight... |

Agree, won't be too long before we have 40,000 to 50,000 Carlton supporters at a home game at the dome.... |

Geez Caz I make one positive post in over 12 months and nobody notices See positives thread from Saturday. The crowd on saturday was the largest home and away crowd in Melbourne for a Blues Swans game . The only other crowds to beat iit was a QF and two games that were played in Sydney Quite impressive and encouraging I thought |

Guaranteed seeing Hawk members get it as a designated away game for going to Tassie to play games. |

The crowd got very vocal in my section on 2 occassions, after the bullshit report on Fevola and after the "rubbisha" that the Swans served up in the last 10 minutes of the last quarter. ![]() |

You could also try going without eating and drinking for 2 hours if you were really that worried. Its harder with kids wanting chips and drinks while they're at the footy, and sometimes that keeps them entertained when they get bored with the game. |
