Are you sure Verbs looks to me like it may be Bannister.....this guy killed em in the pre season and again in the VFL and still doesn't get a game....Lets not forget too that he has done a huge pre season even trained over the Christmas breakhas bulked up enormously. If that doesn't tell you that something is not right then I don't know what will.

Having a look at the emergencies for this week's game solved the mystery once and for all.

Add to that DOA saying it's not Jordan (and all evidence would point to him referring to Bannister) and that the initial report said the player in question was part of the leadership group, I have finally come to the conclusion that it is Ian Prendergast.

I think it quite possible that he'll never play again, but he isn't, nor has he ever been, part of the leadership group.

Maybe, but given Wiggins and Bannister are emergencies this week, I think that's conclusive proof it is Prendergast. The time had come to make it official.

I think you're right verbs, I originally thought it was Chambers but he's been given a go. Bryan and Davies are not players known for their preparation and Prenda has yet to be named as an emergency.
