We're continually creating enough chances to win games of football, we just need some time on the track working on our skills. With time and exprience I have faith we will get there, as our endeavour cannot be questioned so far in 2006.

45,102 is a pretty good home crowd.

With any luck we'll follow suit again next Friday night against the Tigers.

Oh yeah, Bryce Gibbs is another positive. 8)

the simple fact is we had the possessions, Pagan made changes on the night, and we had the scoring shots.

Now with Fevola, Waite and Kennedy in the team everything changes.

But now who do we remove too bring in Fev, Waite and Kennedy?

Is it Teague?, Ohailpin?

We had a crap forward line yet for most of the night we were still in the game because we won plenty of the ball (and turned over far to many times).

AB played really well.

Tex could easily become our best defender.

JR got some game time, got a couple of kicks and is learning just how fast this game is.

Carrots - npow of only he could kick for goal.

Fisher's mark!!!!

Lance.

De Luca

Bring in Fev, Waite and Josh when fit.

bye bye - Teague, JR (for now but he'll be back) Santy.

I'm frustrated beyond words that we lost, but hopeful, because the effort seems to be there - even if the skills sometimes aren't - and we're a bit lopsided at the moment due to Waite and Fev being out. Yet we were in a position where we should have been ahead all night.

As we settle, we'll get better, I have no doubt.

Dont think we are that far away from another win need to settle some players into a spot hoping our delivery will get better with some confidence. (fingers and toes cross please please let it be confidence)

We will be better for having either Waite or Fev back didnt have any leadership down there too Whits was placed back.

The slow starts screw us every single time we need to go see a witch dr and get slow start repair juice. Wonder in all seriousness if we can do a mind trick on the 22 guys out there and reverse the trend

True they were all flooding over to the centre and backline. Its an interesting tatic works if we have the ball to run the lines but it was costly. Caltons version of the flyin v.

Walker flogged Croad when moved onto him. If only Pagan had decided to make the move after Croad had taken five marks in the first ten minutes.

Bentick was good.

Russell a good team game. Will be better for the run.

Fisher and Carrazzo as leading targets across half forward were good, pity they couldn't kick straight.

Eddie is the man.

We have every chance to come out winners, either way in the Bryce Gibbs Cup next friday night.

On the negative.

Deluca taking 50 marks uncontested.
Simmo has a shocker tonight with his disposal.
Murph dropped a chest mark  (he is human after all  )

Given that we seem to be so frustratingly close to a good win just may spur the boys to great things next week, especially Fev.

I just got back from the Dome...one of the most frustrating nights at the footy for a while. I thought we were ordinary. Congratulations to Matty Lappin who played with a chipped bone of his shoulder bone...he was in a bit of pain and when the Hawks targeted the shoulder - I'm embarrassed to say that no one flew the flag...that was an early low point. Kade gave away a goal...hands on knees - Bateman and Young approach and tell him all about it and bump him...Simmo didn't have any support from teamates - now we might be not a great side..but you have to ppay for each other, protect each other, support each other and FLY THE FLAG>>>

Banno - prepare for next week - you're playing.

Teague - get used to wearing red.

Setanta - tell your team mates to kick the ball to you ...

Fish and Carrots - goalkicking practise this week please.

Denis...if you continue to coach the youngsters to this game plan they will lose their natural ability to be spontaneous and creative with the football...Adam Bentick is already a casualty.

p.s...I understand it's difficult when Waite and Fev aren't there...but the Hawks are where they are because they play their kids and give them responsibilities...Kennedy in...Russell stays (I thought he was great tonight)...Blackwell in...(I wanna see if the kid can play) ...

Walker onto Croad, wish the move was made earlier. Had the mobility to go with him. Not blaming Lance either, just not the right matchup. Lance when he went up forward was terrific. Couldn't ask anymore from him

Stevens and Betts also played well and Betts pressure is vital all over the ground
