I love Walker and I know his Dad's here so we try not to be too critical. He has the potential to be an A-grader. BUT He will never be an A-grader until he learns to foot pass - kick to a leading half-forward with constant precision. At the moment, he's about 50% efficient on his right foot, and probably on his left only kicks a good drop punt well 10-20% of the time. We need better. His foot skills must improve. That said, he's winning the ball beautifully and I hope it continues. Good on ya Walks - but it's time to start hitting targets consistently. |

His kicking might not be perfect but who should he kick it to? What loose men did we have for him to pass it to? Did you see any of our forwards get out on their own? He had to pinpoint so many kicks that inevitably some would be turned over given the Richmond players were playing on their opponents, unlike us. |

Walker was dynamic last night, not getting flashy marks or easy kicks alone on the wing, but because he attacked from the backlinem running the ball our, offering a target, beating his man, covering for other backmen. Fair dinkum argue (as people like BV do) about the tactics but enough of this shit that everything Denis does is wrong. Tex is fast becoming one of our most damaging players - that's development. |

Walker has been our best player for the past two weeks! He is providing run out of defence and it seems like his disposal and and decision making has improved. |

Certainly proving a lot of people wrong. Hopefully my boy can start living up to his potential (would help today) instead of only showing up for a quarter. |

Andrew Walker is 19 years of age and is at the beginning of his third year in the AFL - he has been developed perfectly. Anyone expecting more has unrealistic expectations of young players. I wonder where Kouta, McKay, Sexton, Ratten (the list goes on and on) were at the same stage in their careers? |

How anyone can be critical of Walker's progress has got me beat. He's a gun. |
