he's been in the best every game he's played for the ants, so he does warrant selection. It'll be a baptism of fire because collingwood have no shortage of big defenders. It shows a lot of faith in JK by the club to throw him up against either presti or wakelin infront of a full MCG. Good luck to him! |

I just hope his physical strength is up to it. Has he been able to do much weights since getting rid of the sling? |

Well done Josh. Don't have a bad game mate because if you do a fair few posters will say you are no good. |

Harf was on the club corner last night and said that he is not ready. He feels Josh, Bower and Blackers should play VFL footy for another year or so and give them quality ground time. He said no doubt Josh will be a very good footballer and so to Setanta he said Setanta has an unbelievable work ethic and busts his guts out so once he understands the game better and positioning on the ground he will be a great player cause of his gut busting efforts. |

He straightens teams up. i echo those sentiments ... he may be a busy kid in the upcoming few months. seems he's in line for a world cup call-up too ... this from The Age http://www.theage.com.au/news/soccer/hi ... 32040.html Quote: The choice of a final striker will be critical. Arnold said it would need to be someone who could be thrown into a difficult situation and provide a threat. "When you are going for these extra players you are looking for someone who can bring something extra in the attacking department. If you are 1-0 down you want to be able to look down and see someone who can come off the bench and give you a different option."
Striker Josh Kennedy, who is 193 centimetres, fits that description. He would be an aerial threat and a physical target. |

Denis on 3AW News this morning said: "He's a good young kid 6'5 or 6; and is the kind of key forward we so desperately need" ....."We feel he's got a big future". |

YES! It looks like it's going to happen!! 5 teenagers in the one team!! That's 27% of the on-field team and 22% of the side. Surely it's impossible to win with such inexperience? |
