As I left training today (10/03) I was told by the usual hangers about the players rooms they were told by Membership personal they have signed up 29,000. Don't take my word for it but it would be "bloody beautiful". :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Mentioned this morning that the numbers are down to last year.

Expected.
Especially with the move to TD and the MCG.
Some people just can't see the benefits and will miss out on what looks to be a great season ahead of us.

Flipside to that is that if we win the WC Grand Final, a flood of members, both unsigned and new, may come flooding in.

I was trying to work out the numbers discrepancy and I'm guessing we possibly have had 26,000-29,000 requests put through but only 22,500 processed thus far or something along those lines.

If that is the case then we should reach 35,000 with some ease I reckon.

I hope so Kevin. With some impressive results membership wise over the last two years, it will be interesting to see how Carlton people respond when we go into a season with some good form and genuine expectation.

Sometimes "we" know these things before the site publishes them. ;) ;)

However the site does list the supposed latest tally just above the membership graphic of Kouta on the right hand side of the CarltonFC.com.au home page.

Ooh, look at that ... time to update the thread title again! :D

It might take a while, but I'd expect to see comparative figures on here in good time. ;)

Yesterday, I isgned up my brothers 20 month old boy to a baby blue membership. My brother won't know this until the membership arrives in the mail at his joint.

My brother is a bombers support so this should piss him right off.
