Kruezer is 26 and you need some players to build a side around unless you plan to build it around an untried, unproven draft pick - no matter what #.

So if were given pick 4 & 14 you would say no. Spare me.

Not debating the rest of your post Jono.

But 2005 was roundly believed to be a terribly weak draft and 2006 a super draft. On review I think most would call 2005 stronger though.

We know about your strike rate over the last 15 years and it is not good reading, re anything cfc. Well, we have tolerated incompetence for many a year and there is point were people become irrelevant and snipe other posters at nauseum. Go away old man!

Given our success recently and the basket case the club has been I'm not sure I would want any so called current heart and soul players. Means nothing.

Need to create a new fresh culture

It's time for the new Carlton. With Bolton and SOS in charge it will be out with the old and in with the new

Agree. I like what's happening. Some big decisions coming up and I believe we finally have the right people to make them

   MM followers don't interest me. I know you support his thoughts on trading our list so I will just point to current MM trades of Jones, Everiit, Tutt, Thomas and Wood and leave it at that. Old man!

Agree. Trading Kruezer however is madness. Pure and simple.

Why wouldn't you trade Kreuzer for pick 3?

I don't think it's that cut and dried. He's 27 next year and injury prone. He will cost a lot to keep. Will he be around when we next play finals?

If he goes we could get Pick 3 and a gun player for the next 10 years.

There are benefits in both scenarios.

The fact he hasn't signed says to me he's going.

THIS!!!!!!!

Bloody hell. It wasn't so long ago that I sat in disgust at Carlton fans cheering on Melbourne so that we could win the Kreuzer Cup!!!! Now we wanna trade him for another draft pick???

Bloody madness I tell you.

Well this is what concerns me.
This kid has bled navy blue. If we aren't signing him to maximise his value then what does that tell anyone else looking at coming over to our club? Either via draft or trade.
No reason for us supporters to abuse players such as Henderson, is there?

Players move on. St Kilda supporters thought the same about Goddard & Dal Santo. Hasn't hurt them at all
