Dre Levi Walker gotta go

Who plays key forward? Thought of that? We struggle with on poor bugger trying to hold that role down against the numbers of the defence, we should really star with none.

Unfair / disagree. He goes for the ball, bumps fairly and the other guy falls over and gets the free. Most games he does that and we cheer; recently he does that and gives away frees.

Probably reflects an accumulation of years reflecting on how bad (one dimensional) he actually is

The way I see it he has been pretty good most of the last two years until he hurt himself, both forward and in the ruck. Problem is we prefer to play two ruckmen who do nothing when Casboult has been proven time and again to give us something around the ground. He is a much better player when he gets his hands on the ball around the ground and it's always helped him when he's gone forward. Right now we have a 3rd round rookie pick as our only key forward trying to take the heat of the entire defence. We also notice Kreuzer is a WAY better player when he is our sole ruckman with help from Casboult. Both are much better. Don't blame the player, blame the match committee as they are hurting two players output.

Notice when we started winning games this year, it's when we picked a 2nd key forward. Both spread the defence and allowed Casboult to get up the ground more and take a few grabs.

I think most would find that an exaggeration.

Casboult is not a good player. Even if he was it is proven the system doesn't work with him in it. The contested mark thing is pointless. No Hawks in the top 10 of contested marks. We need smart forwards who can get separation and can add to the team in a number of ways.

Casbolt, He just runs in a straight line and jumps.
No push or shepherding, no twist or turn, just running in straight line.

We go to ground too easy and take ourselves out of the contest.

If we are going to lose, then at least do it with some dignity

Not kicking a goal for extended periods is demoralising

We are the worst offensive team I have seen in a long time

I'd pay overs for Patton.

We'll lose all the gains we've made membership wise etc if we dont act soon. Casboult has lost the plot and Everitt is hopeless. Need to trade hard for a Patton to anchor fwd line while Harry develops.

Bolts honeymoon well and truly over.

Yeah, and where would we get the midfielders from? You blokes advocate trading and recruiting tactics that would just perpetuate the pattern we are in right now.

Only said one established fwd. Draftwise yes....all mids !!

Would bet he'd slot straight into Hawthorn right now. A forward ruck they'd love that right now. He could be the difference in that type of side.

When he has been on the ball he has been pretty good around the ground. We all know that if we have been watching footy the last couple of years. Unfortunately most supporters have no memory span beyond 3 weeks. Until his injury he has played pretty well for a year and a half. He always plays his best footy when he plays forward and shares ruck duties. Last year 24 goals from 16 games, half of which he played as a true 2nd ruck while Jones and Henderson played the key position. He took and still takes more marks around the ground than all our other rucks put together. but, as I said, with supporters nothing is remember before the time he injured himself. Right now he's out against a team defence in a shit team. Rucks are no help when they're resting. Maybe put the blame where it should be.

It's the reason why I don't take 50% of supporters seriously. They haven't even noticed something as simple as the above. Too many talk with with their frustrations not their brains.

Me
The guy tries and has had a bad run with injuries but the fact is he has had one 20+ possession game once in his hole career
Jacobs went back home because Kreuzer and Warnock were favoured
Guys like Thomas and Kreuzer our favoured because they went 2 and 1 in the draft
The reality is they are just average players at best

Honeymoon period over for Bolton. I don't blame him, there's not a lot you can do with this mob.
