Yep. Shocker.

They should think before they talk.

Sometimes that passionate hot southern Euro blood gets the better of them.

Breath in. Breath out.

You complain one second about how the AFL is being too woke and too much virtue signalling and "should stick to footy", then proceed to talk for 30 minutes about surveillance cameras, digital currency, whataboutism in regards to domestic violence and wanting to punch on with Collingwood fans in the Legends Lounge the other night.

Pull your heads in and take your own advice and stick to footy talk.

Considering this post is from 2 years ago about the same guys I guess it was just a matter of time :?

Don't forget the "I'm sorry you got offended" apology.

Wow forgot about this post. Great bump.

Honestly, not surprised in the slightest. They have become extremely unhinged recently and going down the ragebait for clicks path and it's become unbearable to watch.

I have tried to tune in on their Sunday show because I like the input of David Rhys Jones but even that is unbearable because of that troglodyte Vince Locissano.

It should be of no surprise to anyone who's tuned into their content to know that they're sexist, mysgonistic Neanderthals. There's been plenty of not so subtle comments made on their channel about females in the cheer squad, female content creators and female board members. Also have noticed more and more them throwing subtle digs at Terry from BA who's thriving and was smart enough to cut them off a while it ago it seems (no proof, just guessing).

The main guy who ironically wasn't on the show this week when this happened is an unhinged lunatic who should be banned from anything Carlton. Enough is enough.

I watch that show but not the Tuesday episode that the inappropriate comment occurred
Before we get all a bit morally high Carlton owned poker machines in 4 venues help contribute to domestic violence.
As for these shows I like TJP and ASP because in terms of footy talk they are simply being 100% honest
That doesn’t happen in mainstream media
TJP Blue Sunday show is worth watching
Totally different show to Tuesday nights with different people including Rhys Jones

I preface this by saying..............I have never watched or heard a single podcast from these guys.

My question would be............does being 100% honest, mean that their opinion is correct?

Opinions are not facts, they are just a personal take on things. 100% honesty does not always equate to 100% factual.

One man's 'Opinion' is another man's 'Load of old Bollocks.'

I would also suggest if they were not smart enough to 'Read the Room' in this day and age, maybe their opinions should be taken with a grain of salt.

Regards Cazzesman

Once again you and I are going down the same path
For instance 25 years one preliminary final appearance 7 CEOs 8 senior coaches tells me the fish rots from the head at Carlton
That’s my opinion
I’m might be wrong
Maybe you are wrong
Personally what I don’t like is when Kane Cornes asks a question to Nick Riewoldt about Ross Lyon or St Kilda and Riewoldt sugarcoats the answer because he doesn’t want to offend mates
Happens all the time in the media and its wrong
Riewoldt is paid by the 7 network to be unbiased about his views on footy

The TJP and other podcasts are passionate supporters who express their views honestly
Personally whether their right or wrong I prefer that
TJP has 4 or 5 shows weekly
The Tuesday night show where the offensive comment took place is absolute garbage
Blue Sunday which is Sunday nights is excellent and informative and has 4 blokes in it not involved with Tuesday’s show
The four blokes on the show are Rhys Jones Joe, Sebba, and Vince Loccisano who was President of the Carltonians and is highly critical of the board and believes it should be replaced

I believe Rhys is involved with the past players association
4 different people
4 different views about the club
Highly recommend it

They did an interview with Parko once & Vince Locissano spoke over the top of him

That was about when I'd had a gutful of them

Was gonna say, the one time I tried listening to TJP... it was something like a 4 hour episode (alarm bells) and after 20 minutes of a bunch of random blokes talking over the top of each other (and none of it about footy) I had to stop. First rule of podcasting: unless you're a famous actor or something, people aren't here for you, they're here because your show relates to a topic of interest. Get to the point, and don't interrupt. These guys fall the basics.

Out of context it was @#$%&! horrible. In context it was still pretty @#$%&! horrible.
Society is past this sort of talk.
I don't watch the Besties, a bit old to enjoy their content. But they just seem like they are having a bit of fun and unlike others, don't shit on club and players in lean times.
Leave them alone.

I’m glad I don’t watch an6 if these. Every now and then I might see a clip advertised on these forums and that tells me all I need to know about these.

The fact they're advertised on here means they must be shit? Agree 100%

Problem gambling is one of the leading causes of domestic violence against women.
And the club own 4 poker machine venues
Yet we have a game highlighting the need to stamp out violence
Watch Blue Sunday which is nothing like Tuesday’s show which is rubbish
Totally get it that this sort of behaviour is outdated never has been dated and I’ll go one step further
Society is pretty [REDACTED] and gettin worse when a political party wins a seat in The House of Representatives outright which is built around hatred biased naive crap
What else is outdated is sporting clubs gaining revenue from people’s misery

7 clubs in Victoria have no poker machines
3 have one poker machine venue
We have 4

Football is the peoples game . Isn't it ? well, it used to be . It is now some corporate monstrosity that has made the game unrecognisable . And the media are the puppets of the AFL . They serve there master well . As far as I'm concerned all these new age podcasters are reclaiming the game . They are bringing it back to the ordinary man in the street . Good on them I say . Watching any of these footy shows on television or Fox has become unbearable . Unwatchable . One cookie cutter clone after another . Newspapers the same . I get most of my footy information from this very site . Fruck , Bluevain and Bondi and alike shit all over Jay Clarke and Gerald . I also tune into Heath Buck , Terry , and Pommie at draft time . Also a couple of young blokes who I can't recall at the moment . I also tune into those Jumper Punch blokes on Sunday night coz one of my all time favourites David Rhys Jones is on it . Funny thing about Rhys is he is not on main street media anymore coz he doesn't walk the company line . He calls it how it is and that doesn't go down to well with big brother . Its pretty obvious Davids fellow panelists particularly Rocco are die hard Blues supporters who are obviously highly strung and a bit over emotional . Better that than not caring . A bad supporter is better than no supporter . Give them blokes credit , they have stuck around through terrible times and have not abandoned the sinking ship .
I only watch there Sunday night show so didn't see the offensive part . Poor form for sure but the bloke has apologised and I am sure he or any of the other blokes wouldn't dream about striking women or violence against them . I have never heard these blokes speak in a derogatory manner about women and I am very surprised this has come about . I reckon the media have taken advantage of the situation and are exploiting it to the max . Its just given them a chance to kick the podcasters . They can't hack the fact that they haven't got a monopoly on us any more . Good on the podcasters I say to give us an alternative information source .

Regardless of what I think of them, the pile-on has been the usual predictable roll call.

Shouldn’t be too long until they turn on the ones that didn’t post their outrage.

Bitches… amirite?
