If anyone could disrupt a good party trick it would be Zac Williams . He would be in my side this week . Its a very winnable game .

I actually reckon this week's game's going to be incredibly hard to win.

But then I guess it's going to be incredibly hard to lose too.

I’m a bit worried they won’t turn up to play.

I disagree, Ison Young & Byrne all deserve to stay in, and we will make top 10 with them.
No one getting 6 to 7 disposals deserves a game which these 3 are averaging. But if you are developing its ok

Not sure cotts and Williams will add
Many more disposals….perhaps experience

Did anyone watch the Saints V GWS game today ? I did . Something isn't quite right up there . Kingsley had a bit of a tiff with one of his assistants in the last 5 min . It was minor but non the less it didn't look good . Toby wants to come back to Melbourne at the end of this season . Knowing your Captain wants out wouldn't be good for morale . To me watching GWS they looked like a side that didn't fully have there heart in it . They had a bit of Charlie from last year vibe about them . We can take this mob if we are fully committed even if its on there own dunghill . We have to want it .

I agree with Sydney Blue. Keep playing the kids if development is more important than making the top 10.
I can't agree with you london.

Last game Williams played before being "managed" was against Doggies. I thought he was very good. Smart.
Maybe smart comes from experience, and if he's smart because of experience he's got that over Ison, Byrne and Young in spades.

Good argument to play Williams against his old team: a Finals contender.
Furthermore, Williams can play back, forward, mid and wing. The kids are not that versatile.

As for Cottrell, he's been lame in the VFL since his omission, but his 2nd half against Essendon* in the VFL was very impressive.
The response from Cotts in the 2nd half was like someone read him the riot act at half time.

I will want to win because I'm going to watch and support by Baggers in the VFL and AFL game (after watching the the socceroos at 5am), but I will leave it to the footy gods to decide what they are after.

Yep, I watched it.
I think they were trying to win but were very clumsy.
Clumsy perhaps because Saints bought the heat and Giants panicked, plus the home ground really lifted the Saints, and the umpires well.....
I thought Idun was too loose, and WTF has happened to the irrepressible Callum Brown? That bounce he took in the dying minutes was so bad, and you couldn't blame the surface.

Giants skills were not their normal high standard in the end. Woeful at times. Wasteful. A bit selfish too.
If they play like that against us and we bring the heat, they are gettable. I don't think they will play like that at home.
Nevertheless, I will enjoy watching a Carlton Double Header with sinbagger...maybe Great Ex, whilst Sydney Blue is drinking chardonnay in the Corporate Box getting his moneys worth from Optus.

Is it a fact Green wants to head to Melbourne next year?
I know he's in the media trade discussions, but is that media speculation?

Geelong rather than Melbourne.

Interesting...so, leaving without a Flag under his captaincy......what a waste all those free picks and free hits they have had from the AFL....and all the disruption.

Fk the Nepo babies.

Can someone create a thread for this week's VFL game.

We have a few coming back this week and my boy, the right footed version Ison, Farrer, kicked 6 for Diamond Creek to sink the previously unbeaten Heidelberg.
