Friday night is a Designated Hawks away game, meaning their members also get admission. I think it's to offset their Tassie home games.

Anyway should be a big crowd so get there early if you want a decent seat.

i love their sales...........you have to be early
to them...........!

you can't be late.........!

there may be a bit more room on friday though........
the Greeks won't be out in as much force.......with church
and all........!

Germans march.........Greeks go to church..........!

Hawthorn has a surprising amount of "ethnic" support

do we get compensated for this?

surely this would cost us 5000-10000 ticket sales that come hawks members would otherwise have to buy?

our TD games over the last 2 years have both been bumper crowds both around the 48,000 mark i think.

you'd expect that this woudl be similar this week.

crowd will probably be 50/50.

was this game fixtured last year for orthodox good friday as well?

i kinda remember some of our greek faithfull not being able to attend a game cos of easter.

if this is the case, and given carlton's large greek supporter base, shouldn't we be consulting the calendar and proposing not to have a game scheduled on orthodox good friday/easter sunday?

i bet collingwood doesn't!!

Carlton Hawthorn matches are always massively attended on the Friday night at the Dome, this one should get over 48,000. Either way the top and bottom levels will be full, it's up to the medallion club members etc
