OK I am one of the last SEN listeners in melbourne I know, but I was listening this morning when some feral t*rd rang up Andy Maher to gloat. Maher was gracious and admitted that the filth were the better side etc, that we werent going too well at the moment etc etc. This peanut couldnt let go and made some crack about how this win was more important than many of our wins over the filth etc etc. maher disagreed but tried to stay gracious. In the end the loser couldnt understand why and Maher had to point out that in the period where we were flying and they were cr@p we won 6 or 7 premierships!!!

Geez I hate the ferals, why do I listen to it!!

I mainly don't listen to it because AW has such crap reception, but the quality of the programs don't help either. I've listened to it about once in the past year, and that was after the Freo win was announced

I heard that guy too 2nd.

Maher handled it well. Andy's not been an arrogant Carlton supporter in his time on the station, & let's face it, has not had the opportunity to be.

Watson agreed that the gloating was unimpressive.

The guy kept saying 'how are you feeling now Andrew? I bet you felt like crap when you woke up this morning...That's how we've felt for years'. So he's obviously got a few issues that he's having trouble letting go of.

There are enormous wankers from all teams who ring that station though. Last week a Carl supporter called Alex called the late night show to say he was sick of following us & wasn't going to bother coming to the footy until we're good again.

The presenters should have the option of pressing a  button

Maher is a goose and he always replies to Carlton supporters unhappy with performances and specifically Denis' performances by saying that Denis knows what he is doing. Pagan gets such an easy ride in the media. This has to stop.

I know that the first post wasn't about this but the media continues to choose to overlook Denis and his pathetic record and I find it frustrating

Andy Maher was getting a lot of stick last year from Tim and Bill for not buying a Carlton membership; his reason for not doing so was that he had issues with someone at the club.

At the start of this year, he said that person was no longer with the club and that he was now a member (so I assume it was someone cut from the list that he had objections to...)

Probably that Nick Becker. He's an evil man if ever I saw one.

I heard that too (I wake up to SEN every weekday) and was pissed with that caller, Who wasn't Angwin or Norman.

Maher gave hime a pile driver with his answer about winning all those premierships...Gold response.

I thought he was still at the club but he had decided to join up regardless.

Correct BW. I heard him say that a couple of days ago.

We've already got a number of board members with the personality of a tablecloth.

why would you not get a Membership just because you had issue with one person involved with the club..Surely if we all were to take this line of thought no clubs would have any members

There is only one reason why I would not renew my membership for 2007 and thats if they sack Denis Pagan

and appoint Stephen Silvagni as coach.
