I mean we are as bad as we were in 2003. No matter what the state of the list, it should improve over 4 years. Anyone think we would be this bad if we'd let Britts serve the final year of his contract and then got Eade (who was available and looking for a job).

There's been impovement from most of the youger players, Fev, Whitnall but most of our older top liners are either not improving or past their best.

I'm not convinced about Eade as a coach..bit like Wallace...plenty of hype but in the end their previous history suggests that when the hype runs out so does their success....The Bulldogs have had a fair bite of the draft in recent times and got some good kids, you would suggest Eade should be a premeirship coach within the next 2-4 years if he is any good...building a team around a midget forward line and relying on quick movement of the ball is great but not much chop when you dont have a plan B due to lack of talls......

Most of the younger group?

Who would they be BlueWorld?

Sporn was 19 when Pagan was signed and a 1st round pick.
Livingston was 19 and a first round pick.
Davies was 19.
Wiggins was 19 and a first round pick.
How are they all going?

Houla could'nt keep his spot in the side last year.
Pagan wanted to trade Fev at the end of last year.
Cameron Croad?
T/Bird has gone backwards in the past 24 months.
Fisher still cant kick.
Waite has no idea how to lead and has a long way to go.
Normans gone.

As far as I remember Whitnall was a star in his first year. Are you telling me he's performed better under Denis?

Young players progress because they are part of the system.
They have access to gyms, full time training, psychologists, audio visual education sessions.
Their bodies are growing and their muscle mass is increasing.
Exposure and time in the faster, more professional arena of AFL football contributes to the natural progression of players.

What and who do you attribute anyones improvement to Denis?

As far as I'm concerned, the clubs role is to supply a professional environment for footballers to physically develop.

The coaches role is to assist the management of mindset, attitude and output.
He should be responsible for the tactical growth and development of the players and develop appropriate decision making skills.
He should supply a game style that is complementary to the structure and abilities of the list.

IMHO, Pagan has failed dismally in his duties.
Instead of implementing a game style to suit the list at his disposal, he foolishly and arrogantly tried to build a list to play his game style.
A game style that the Brisbane Lions made redundant in 2001.

Which players exactly can you attribute significant improvement to Denis Pagan.

Pagan suggested the idea of linking TBV to Footyvoice.

I thought it was self explanatory.
Would you grasp it better if it was written in crayon?

Come on guys lets not be fooled by all this Back slapping and rubbish By Fevola, firstly by endorsing Pagan as a good coach and telling us to get off his back . He Came to the club on the back end of a wooden spoon, and I dare say he will leave the club with another wooden Spoon. So Whats changed ? Pagan is just so robotic and predicable with the way he prepares the team and typically, with his after match comments, He continues to to blame the list at his disposal, ie "there isnt any superstars in the cabinet down Royal Parade". what Message does this send to the playing list??
Hes hardly ever discussed his very negative & quite predictable game plan, that he continously persists with and never deviates from, which really has been nothing but a complete failure and waste of time .

Footy is really a simple game .You really need to be Rhodes Scholar to be able to understand the cryptic game plan that Pagan employes.
Carlton should dispense withn his services and not wait for another 2 years of failure under Pagan

Not sure with his comments relating to Kouta, considering hes managed to oversee the departure of 3 Captains in his time at the club (ie Bradley Ratten, Mckay,)

Obviously The Fev is indebited to Pagan by standing by him and giving the shag another chance after Wayne Britton, was ready to give him the flick.
but dont forget Guys the Shag, very nearly found himself at Richmond this season, something Pagan would have had a big say in.
