Keep him in the back line please. If Livo has any future at Carlton it is in the backline. We dont need more forwards although there are a couple of injuries he isn't better then fisher and waite.

Let him settle into the backline for at least six weeks and see how he goes. Playing in the forward line is a waste of time he will only get in fevola's way.

If we have too many forward and we keep Livo in the backline where will we fit in Lance???

Here we go again another cheap shot at Lance. Lance plays where the coach tells him. Has done his part this year. This thread is about LIVO.

But the point Synbad is making is valid... IS Lance going to be our CHB of the future. Could you see Lance being our next Premiership CHB ?
Lance is either a forward or our Prized Trade Bait, where as Livo is still a hopeful.... Hope he makes it or a future SAFL player...

Not saying we trade Lance though just adding some thoughts...

Is Lance going to be our next premiership anywhere? If you want him to be prized trade bait then leave him in the backline. Livo at best is going to be an average player, lets not kid ourselves. What about if Lance plays forward and stops Josh Kennedy being our next premiership CHF? I have more hope for Josh than Livo.

Who is Livo meant to play on this week anyway? Adelaide isn't exactly loaded with tall forwards.

Last year Livo from memory actually dominated McGregor who had a pretty decent season...

But we've showcased Lance as a CHB now.... And we've won 2 games in the process this year and 4 last year...
It doesn't matter what he does from here on . I agree Lance shouldn't play CHF , she should play the roaming HFF /Wing/ Floodman... It may actually help Josh with a match up..... And thus help Josh's development whilst still giving Livo some chance of avoiding the SAFL...
:-D :-D

Barry Mitchell has already tried playing Livo as a foward in the VFL, no need to try him in the seniors. I still think he should stay in the backline.

The only decent game I have ever seen Livo play was against Sydney in at Telstra Stadium in Sydney when he was put at CHF (through necessity) I think it was 2004, he took a few pack busting marks and really made a mark - unfortunately it was his kicking for goal that let him down.

But best most confident I have ever seen him in a Carlton jumper - whether that attitude has been beaten out of him only time will tell.

Wouldn't have been in 2004...unless you mean the Who Cares match where we thumped them....

Last premiership match up here we played was 2003, from memory.
