well maybe if Denis put more time into coaching and less into putting wooden spoons under doors we'd be better off!

I don't get it.

While they are probably in a slightly better position than us, how can a team such as Hawthorn finish the year off on such a high and come away with some really good, encouraging wins? And we can't?

Why in god's name did we flood so much today! It's a flower disgrace and it just proves that Denis is lost and has no idea.

Fev taking the kick-in from Full Back?????????????? WTF???????

The commentators said it on numerous occasions today when Carlton players had the ball:- "He looks up but he has nobody to go too!!!!!"

Pathetic and disgracefull game today! A flower Disgrace!

It's all about pride.Dissecting our list and its strengths and weakness'es is meaningless if ya aint got pride. And that was a shamefull performance that was a disgrace to the jumper. No iffs or butts.Dressing it up is a copout.

Perhaps the players were just going where the ball spent most of the match.

Just forget about todays effort, in fact, don't read anything into it.

Once Sydney got a run on, the majority of the team was thinking about hitting the bar and Mad Monday and the 6 weeks off.

I'm not reading anything into todays effort, it was always going to happen.

you should read everything into todays effort.
reality is carlton is by far the worst team in the league. and reality is when Fevola is held the team gets thumped (even more).
Carlton would not have won a game this season if not for Fev.
Fevola is a champion and the only reason Carlton has appeared competitive in some games this year.

I dunno...

It was last years premiers stepping into third gear you know....wtf do you expect? Effort you say? What if that effort only gave us 2 more goals...it wouldn't make any difference..... there is a mountain inbetween us.

They aren't robots. They've copped it now for 3 yrs ...

I wonder how many of us could continue to work tirelessly for no reward like they have a fair number of times this year?

I don't think any less of em after that game.

Very hard to win a game when a lot of your players cant kick the ball 40 metres and cant tackle either....Goodes was on the wing and was tackled by two players..one was Waite...just broke the tackles like they were paper. Whoeva we recruit lets make sure they can kick over a distance and have some idea of how to tackle....

Why are we such poor tacklers with the Human Clamp on the payroll? :?

Who has improved their tackling in his time at the club?

I can only think of AB

why do we always blame the players ... .Good coaching will fix a lot of problems improve fitness / skills and tackling ..

Adelaide great example i know that they have there guns and topliners but they also have some good average players who have been able to step up ie Massie and others.....

The coaching has to change

The worst loss in our coaching panel was Worsfold pity we couldnt convince him to coach the Blues when or if we had a chance.

Ahh well all in the past now
