Why would St Kilda want Tarrant?

Unless Malthouse was going too coach them and wanted him too go with him.

But apart from that I would have thought that the Saints would be happy with St Nick and St Fraser as well as a spasmodic Hamill, and Milne, and Watts as a backup.

BH, not a good time to do it. They have their version of Lent coming up and you cant touch food all day. And remember, no grog! :shock:

I think Stevens value has dropped off significantly and he would get a 2nd round at best. Is not an elite midfielder anymore

True. I'd fail the "Aussie values" test as well.

Currently pretty harsh for Southern Hemisphere Muslims when the Ramadan falls in the Summer months - as dawn to dusk is a pretty long hours.

But thems the breaks when you have follow a lunar calendar and the months move through the seasons.

Now if our Muslim friends converted to the Orthodox faith they could feast for 40 days on "!@#$%&" and "Phasoles", hey Tommi. :wink:

Unfortunately Ice Magic would still be off the menu methinks. :cry:

Comments like this deflect the issue.

I'm worried. :(

If Gardiner is Drafted via the PSD, that would be an insult!!!!

the guy is not even worth it for Free... the last thing we need is a Player with Under-World connections to hit the Club and bring more players down with him!!!!

Talent aside, Gardiner's body is Spent... He will never be able to play more than 8 games a Season....

Get the best Ruckman available at pick 17, and GO for it.... also worth looking at the local competitions of other States.. something which we have never done before, and the Herald sun had a full on Report today which exposed the Stuff ups we have done in the past!!!!

You will find that Fraser aint got long! Hamil is as good as gone! Milne will most likely be traded (if Thomas was around for sure) however he may survive the chop due to the new coach. They need a forward talented such as Tarrant. Don't under estimate how good Tarrant is!

Rumour has it, and regarded by ABC commentators as ludicrous that Stevens will be involved in a three way swap with Gardener with Stevens ending up at Collingwood as he always wanted.

Rumour also has it that he doesn't get along with DP.

I know for a fact that his brother played for N.Melb and didn't get along with him - for what it is worth.

Some of you might see his departure as good news however.

Personally I'd rather Stevens stay instead of Gardener, replacing him unless we get a draft pick on top of it.

:? Why would we give West Coast anything when they have not offered Gardiner a new contract and we will be able to get him in the PSD for nothing. This rumor is nothing but hot air and a waste of time and space. :roll:

Stevens is an elite midfielder and was effected by injury this year. Even still, he put in many good efforts for the Blues this year.

I would make him captain before I made a player of the last century - whitnall - captain.

He has performed well in big games for Carlton and Port Adelaide (including finals) over many years. Give him a break.

I prefer this 3 way trade

Stevens-----> Collinwood
Tarrant -----> St Kilda
Goddard-----> Carlton
That way everyone is happy! :lol:

Us ,happy? Why would we want Tarrant, FFS?

For the record, Nick's brother Danny played for North if any of you remember - Michael was Anthony's brother

a better rumour that i haven't heard is:
Stevens to Collingwood
Tarrant to West Coast
West Coast first pick to us (pick 13-16) + maybe Gardiner??

sounds more realistic but just as unlikely.

:)
