I know this is supposed to be a positive thread, but I'm positive that I have yet to receive my renewal membership.

I checked the Australia Post site for you DownUnderChick, and it says that mail normally takes 10-15 working days to get to Tatooine. You will probably get it in the next couple of weeks.

Chick, it generally takes the mailhouse responsible a couple of weeks at least to distribute the whole membership run. We go through angst every year when someone posts that they have received theirs. 8)

If I move to Coruscant [aka AFL House] does that mean it will be delivered next day Jarusa?

Thanks Mrs Caz - nothing worse than feeling out of the loop.

Slo Mo, Coruscant is where the Emperor [The Spew] hangs out with his Senate [AFL Commish] cronies.

The Death Star is where they ajudicate changes that will f&^k up the young band of Jedi Knights known as the Blueboys.

I'll have to ask Obscuratron about that one (sorry if he was before your time on TC).

Just on the renewal packs. IMO they are very well put together and credit to the club for being able to do that with meagre resources.

The one thing I really did like was the 'personalised' letters from players were targetted demographically. My kids who are on baby blue memberships got letters with Fev asking them to get back on board, whereas my membership had a letter from Simmo another young player I cannot remember off the rop of my head and Whitnall.

Good stuff by the club, shows they are at least thinking about things.

Should have waited till the week before the season starts and then you may have got a call from your favourite player Stevo like I did last year.

I'll try to be positive. The following link allows you to renew your membership by typing your membership number and the password carlton.

http://carltonfc.com.au/default.asp?pg= ... ewredirect

Now without trying to be negative when I log in it tells me that I have no renewal packages available to me? What gives?

Ah that shite has never worked - designed and implemented by Accenture for Telstra.

I just signed up 3 of my friends' kids as Baby Blue members.

Fathers 1 and 2 support collingwood and Father 3 supports Essendon*

$81 well spent I think.

The line "well, xxxxxxxx was a Carlton member first..." will be used a lot in the next 20 years.

A membership for my 'lil 8 year old brother for Xmas this year, his first solely due the fact that Mum is a Swannie and the step-father is a Richmond supporter... managed to swing him to the Blues though...

I'll get mine as usual post-Xmas, most likely Gold membership... great to see so much enthusiasm and support in getting memberships, the lifeblood of every club... would love nothing more that to see a big jump in numbers for '07, show how passionate we really are...

Q. Do Baby Blue/Junior memberships get recognised in the total membership figures?! Anyone know how it works!?
