It doesnt mean they will be on the board.

What is going to happen is an exhaustive smoking out of Carlton people will be on the cards with an eye for the best candidates.

Should be this week.

Stay tuned.

Keep us informed, Synners.

Thanks buddy.

I could be way off the mark bit did someone else hear Deano on 3AW?

One thing I did hear was the canning we received from callers and Carro.

Didn't he say something off air, but was on air, about someone looking like a terrorist. I don't want someone on the board who i personally reckon is afraid to say what he feels unless it's by accident.

This from the bloke who didnt want to draft bachar houli because he is muslim......

how's your flip flops rambo?

Dude ,i didn't say, i said for the last time,it's a risk signing anyone with any religion or any beliefs that might not follow the line, playing on any day, night and training, they have to be flexable to what the Carlton and AFL Program is.

In Bachar Houli case,he did the fasting and then stopped,i just hope he can choose the correct thing to do if he plays, as it will be a lot harder as he ages. If Bachar Houl does relax his religion, many real muslims around the world would class him not really being a true muslim if he doesn't follow the teaching ,that's a fact, but you know he probably wouldn't care what they thought, as young Australian Muslim probably dont stop everything they not suppose to do,i'm not sure, maybe a muslim could tell us that .

The thing is he probably be O.K,he might be just the same, like any Catholic,Jewish or other, who believe in their religion but dont do everything 100% to the book like everyone.

Its the kind of trait you look for in a kid...

Surely if any such candidates had the Club's interests at heart they would be well known to the Club / ringleaders of any new ticket and wouldn't need smoking out.

We've been a carcass for 5 years and I don't see the squillionaires or great ideas-men knocking at the door. I see lots of 'fix it up and I may be able to spend some time assisting the Club'.

There are no quick fixes and no brilliance on tap we can just switch on for the right political mix.

Understand your point molsey, but some people need to be tapped on the shoulder before they realise what they might be able to offer.

you have to understand.. if someone puts his hand up what will happen??

He would be looked at to tip in...and be the sole saviour.

noone wants that kind of treatment.

also succesful businesspeople dont want a shitfight.

But say there are a few people behind the scenes who are [prepared to put in big money because they believe the club is not allowed to make decisions for its own destiny.. and that if they hand over this cash to the current board it will be squandered as this board has been tight assed to pump money into the club.

They might be looking at pumping a heap into the club because by doing this theat forces them to be accountable with how its spent..
and that it also blows away the shackles the AFL has placed upon this club involving itself with every aspect of our decision making,

Supposing if this people pump in big money they can go out and look people in the eye to invest in us because they too have invested a heap.

Supposing there are a few people around the club that sees there is strength in numbers when there are others who think the same...
