And so it was, in recent dark times, Guru Fev went to the people of the media and hath stated:

"Forget what our board says, Pagan is a great coach and should stay at the Blues"...and it was done.

Guru Fev then turned to the people of the media once again and stated:

"Forget what Hawthorn says, Thornton is a great fullback and should stay at the Blues"...and it was done.

For a third time, today in the paper, Guru Fev hath spoken again to the people of the media:

"Forget what Pagan says, Gibbs is a great midfielder and should be recruited by the Blues"...and in time it will be done...

Is there no end to Guru Fev's power??

Guru Fev was also heard to mutter: "It's good to be the king..."

I think Guru Fev should read his name out on Draft Day.

Guru Fev even asked for some of the old players to come back to the club and hey presto Bradley and Ratten show up. He is the one.

I'm going to see Guru Fev about my baldness (and accompanying excess of back hair) when I'm in Melbourne next.

If this one comes off, then Fev is Truly the Great Guru!

I couldn't think of a better pickup that Voss.

Seeing as Brisbane is still paying Voss for the entire 2007 season, I SERIOUSLY doubt he'd entertain the idea of picking up a paypacket from a rival club during that time. Especially seeing as Brisbane went out of their way to do the right thing by him.

Best we could hope for is that he spends a year in the media, then we grab him from 2008 onwards.

Ahh, Mark Athorn...

remember in the 93 Grand Final when Long was killing us, and one of our players finally broke free on the wing - Athorn - and as he was streaming into attack he took a bounce, but buggered it up and it went flying back over his shoulder and into the arms of the chasing player who was... Michael Long.

Geez that was a long day.
