With Lance now more than likely to be captain due to Fev's incident in Ireland. Who will be named as Vice ?

I think Stevens or Lappin will be Vice, but I would like to see Murphy get the job

Bring back Laurie & Karl and make them Co-Captains of Vice.

How about Bozo the Clown - I am soo disappointed with that idiot.

Give it to Simmo.

I'd make Lance and Stevens co-captains.

Murphy, Simmo, and Hansen as Vice 8)

Anyone but Whitnall should be captain.

Even Kim Beazley, John Howard or that Sheik Hilaly would be preferred.

but in all honesty - has to be Stevens for captaincy. You think we are the laughing stock of the league now? imagine what it will be like when Whitnall's inspirational backpeddling out of packs is what we see again in 2007.

2007 will be Whitnall's last year at the club -the time for giving captaincy to players on the last legs - eg bradley, kouta etc.. as some sort of long service recognition is over.

(don't get me wrong.. i was impressed with the service of both bradley and kouta.. but by the time they were captains they were at the end of their careers)

Give it to a player that can contribute into the future and INSPIRE...

As much as I hate to say it I think we have to follow the St Kilda route - Fevola's leadership in punchups has seen to that. We have no other option.

Whitnall can't be captain. He was found out in the second half of the year and good Coaches will continue to work up matchups to get him out in space and on leading players.

Stevens - well does he want to be Captain? Or does he want to concentrate on 2007 after a not as succcessful 2006?

Saddington Scotland and Teague are our only other players 25 or older. And none of them are leadership quality.

I say 3 co-captains. Whitnall, Stevens and a young upstart, the best we can find. Either a Simpson or a Walker.

Stevens will be Vice.

Lappin to be deputy vice.

Drop Fev from the leadership group until he can prove he has the leadership qualities that are required to be a leader.

He's pretty much shat in the face of all his mates at the club through this act in Ireland.

For some strange reason, I think Simmo may get the honours of VC. Just a gut feel!!!

Shat in the face of his teamates and club..... That's a bit harsh isn't? Fev will be feeling like crap right now for what he did. But don't overplay the situation. There's alot that happens in football that you dont hear about. Most people, including footballers, stuff up and do things they regret. Fev's just a human headline, if he missed the urinal when he was taking piss it would make the pappers in the off season.

This politically corrected world needs to get some perspective.

Disagree.

Fev should be stripped of all leadership positions.

Doesn't deserve it at the present time.

He needs to earn back his mate's respect in a big way.
