With your growing reputation as a thumping kick, have you and Fev had a kicking comp at training?.

Do you believe you could play 15-20 games this year, (or has someone had a whisper in your ear) if your body holds up?

What does he think of the nickname Manfred The Mammoth, given to him by none other than The Sexy Squad? afer all he does bear great resembelance to the ice age mammoth of the same name.

Molsey - Can you ask him what he knows about the first name on his #23 locker - Bert Deacon? Our CHB of the Century, first Brownlow medalist and slight resemblence to Adam himself....cheers.

Would be interesting to know if these young fellas know who some of the names on their lockers are. The one thing I loved about Glen Manton is his willingness to go out of his way to learn about Harry Vallence.

Agree entirely Doc!

I recall posting a similar thread 12 months ago.

To my mind the starting point in returning OUR Clubs culture is with the players themselves!

To my mind every players locker at the start of the new training/playing season ,should include a biography of the locker/jumper owner from the past.

Perhaps if someone like Aaron Hamill had be privy to the background of the previous #4 he might have shown a little more respect!

He could have just asked.

They played in the same side for a year or so.

Would you prefer to play as a forward or a backman?

Do you think you could break out of a Fevola headlock?

What are you personally expecting to get out of pre-season this year?
What improvements do you think you need to make in order to become a regular senior player?
Who do you expect to be stand-outs in the pre-season this year?
Hansen, Gibbs or Leuenberger?

Question to Harts:

Are you aware that Flinty rarely does the dishes, rarely cleans his toilet or shower and prefers to use the clothes dryer, at great expense to the management, even when it is 40 degrees outside

No...........he does that because he puts on a load of washing in the morning, can't wait 30 minutes for it to finish, goes out all day and leaves his washing in the machine  then comes home in the evening, needs something to wear, finds he has nothing but wet clothes and HAS to use the dryer.

No doubt he's just a typical 18/19 yr old male. Not a care in the world. Is that about right DOA?

Definitely interested to know if he is on any sort of modified training program to strengthen his hamstrings.

Also:

What is your goal for 2007 in terms of number of games played?

What key attribute does he think he can bring to the seniors that we currently lack? (ANSWER: a fullback :-D )

Great questions - thanks for that guys. The article should go up later today but Hartlett remains as keen, confident and chatty as ever. If he gets his body right I think he could be up for a leadership role in future given how good a talker he is. Anyway...some selected highlights:

1. Jolie v Aniston: Jolie
2. Goal for games played?: Nup, just wants to debut. No other targets.
3. Positions:[i]Hartlett has set himself up to play in the last line of defence for Carlton. A positive pre-season meeting with the Coaching staff has instilled him with confidence – “I had a great meeting with Denis. He said he knows I’ve got the ability and that he liked what he saw in the pre-season game against the Cats. He said the Club will give me every opportunity to perform.â€

Be nice to have a player who can kick out properly...I really enjoy seeing Hartlett kick the footy...He has the skills to be a player and if he can make it along with Setanta and Kennedy it will give us a great spine to build a team around....
Needs game time and some no conservative selection policy from the MC...no playing safe and picking Saddington for example ahead of Hartlett...
