What ever happened to the pleasant Sunday Morning ?

Earlier in the Season due to the Weather, the Family day was rescheduled to after the Port Adelaide practise match which was on a stinking hot day and we lost by 100's.

I now we can't blame the weather but I just received notification that the Pre christmas family day is being held after training on Friday 8th December starting at around 5pm.

Surely the idea is to get people to attend, have a photo, get an autgraph and spend some $$$.

How many will they get at 5pm on a Friday night.
Would they get more on the Saturday or Sunday?

When will they learn!

Yep pretty bad. The timing rules me right out as I live way out in the burbs. I normally dont even knock off work until 5:30, by the time I trooped all the way out to casa del 2nd and picked up the tribe, the family day would be well over.

only happens to co-incide with a home melb victory game against sydney

wonder how many victory members such as myself will be able to go along to carlton's family "day".

must be asking too much for the club to consider such factors ...

Can't believe after the success of the Sunday Family day about three years ago that it has been moved to a Friday afternoon time slot.

So disappointing.

Can we blame the board and Denis for this?
