I didnt take the form to the AFL personally. I have heard it was a done deal yesterday( maybe the paperwork has to go in still?) I dont know who for... but the big fella deserves this and should be in unless there ie a final minute change of heart from the MC.

Isn't it unbelievable that we're getting so worked up about a player who hasn't even played a single game of seniors footy yet?

Whether he plays or not it's good to hear that Pagan things he's almost ready.

Highly irregular and I am probably blowing all the rules of net ettiquette but a direct quote from the Carlton Email which just arrived:

"Exciting news during the week was the elevation of Setanta O'hAilpin from the Rookie List to the Senior List. This is recognition of his performances in the VFL in recent weeks and no doubt with continued good form our Irish recruit is a real chance to make his AFL debut soon. Last year Setanta was also elevated to the senior list during the season but a foot injury denied him the opportunity to play AFL. Setanta is on the senior list until Brad Fisher returns from injury, which is expected to be in late May. He has been named one of three emergencies for Saturday's match with Blues making no changes to the team that defeated Hawthorn last Friday night. Many would be surprised to know that Scott Camporeale, Callum Chambers and Andrew Carrazzo have all been named after being considered doubtful earlier in the week. Denis Pagan said before training that all three would train and be given until Saturday morning to ensure they were fit to play."
