Houlihan resigned just last year. Not sure how many years though.

Norman I'm quite sure resigned for one year last year also.

No Hoops signed for 3 so has another year to go.

Sporn signed for 2 end of last year, so also has 1 more year after this.

Not sure about how long any of the others signed for.

Pretty sure Prenda is in the third year of a six year contract...heavily backloaded. It was in The Age...I think.

That explains the form slump I guess.What are we doing with the money we've saved, I wonder?

They have resigned themselves to not contributing for the near term. Hopefully both these guys will wake up to themselves and re-sign soon and get back on the winning bandwagon.

My understanding of contracts:

Trent Sporn - final year in 2006. Re-signed last year for 2.
Simon Wiggins - final year in 2006. Re-signed last year for 2.
Kade Simpson - final year in 2006. Standard 2 year deal when drafted in 2002. Re-signed last year for 2.
Karl Norman - final year in 2006. Re-signed last year for 2.
Ian Prendergast - final year in 2006. Re-signed last year for 2.
Ryan Houlihan - final year in 2006. Signed 3 year deal when nearly made it to PSD at end of 2003;
Glen Bowyer - final year this year. Standard 2 year deal when drafted in 2003.

Players Out of Contract at end of this year:

Walker;
Morrell;
Livingston;
Whitnall;
Clarke;
Johnson;
French;
Lappin;
Teague;
Camporeale;
S. O'hAilpin;
Bowyer;
Longmuir;
Chamber;
Fevola;
Deluca;
Waite;
Bentick;
Carrazzo;
Pleming;
A. O'hAilpin;

Players from that list that are definites to be re-signed are the O'hAilpins boys, Carrazzo, Bentick, Waite, DeLuca, Fevola, Lappin, French, Livingston and Walker.

The rest are debatable.

No love-child Johno PJ? :shock:

I'd definitely re-sign Teague - despite his poor current form - still think with the right structure teague adds some value.
