With Farmer and quite possibly Bell out as well. I'm almost considering tipping the Blues for the first time in about 10 weeks!

"Fremantle star Jeff Farmer has been ruled out of Sunday's match against Carlton at the MCG after straining his hamstring at a closed training session on Thursday afternoon."

to be honest, it probably just decreases the goal difference marginally

still, it might open up a few opportunities for some of our players that might not otherwise have been there!

I don't know - even though the margins have been fair enough in recent times, Farmer's been a large part of it. If I recall, we were right in the mix in the corresponding game last year, but for some kick-starting by Jeff.....

good to see the club doctors got it right at the players Marquee after the round 9 game when they declared that frenchy would be right for the round 10 game against the crows.
2 months latter and he is still out.

We are going to kill these pretenders, show them what a real team is made of. This is the weekend Chris Connoly loses his job!!

Remembers when Capper kicked the winning goal for Brisbane against Carlton as Princess Park? We are about to witness the otherside of that debacle.

Houlihan is an out.

Good source and I must say nobody on this site introduced me.
Also got some other info but I'll leave that for another day

If he's definitely out why bother naming him? Injured or omitted?

I think he did the injury again or a different one before the West Coast game so maybe next week

God help us.

Yes. In the best for the Bullants against the opposition's key player.

Good to Betts and Fish are named.
Can't wait to see how well Brad does.

Yep It is good to see the Fish has been named. Although I would not expect too much from him first game back and all.

Would love to see Betts been given more time in the centre.

How the hell does sporn get named? He has really disappointed me over the past couple of seasons. Not sure if he should be persisted with next season.

I actually reckon we have a chance to win this game, but sadly I have thought that alot in recent times with other games, and we have ended up getting belted. Lets hope it does not continue again this weekend.

Believe me... this is one scenario where I won't take any delight in saying "I told you so"!

As BRMW said above, I'm not expecting too much from his first game. Actually I'm not expecting anything from him for the rest of year. Having had a knee reco myself and knowing the difficulties post-op, I'll be very pleased if all he does is gets through the rest of the year unscathed.

Good luck Fish.
