I don't think I said it was Cammo's fault that people are feeling anti the coach, but the petition, and argument surrounding the petition, is certainly adding fire to people's dislike of Pagan et al, and the more that fire burns, the more damage it can do - like seeing good members tear up their memberships...
People have always been frustrated at selection decisions, this is nothing different... perhaps we should turn selection night into a reality TV show where supporters get to SMS in their selections? Actually, why not run the club that way full stop if we don't agree with what they're doing?
Membership is already down 20% and that's because of our onfield lack of perfomance, passion and real committment over the last few years. At times it's been a real embarrassment. Much of that can be attributted to Pagan. Members will only put up with so much for so long and won't continue to big $$$ to follow a cause that is not giving them value for money. Like it or not, that's human nature. If we get another couple of years like the last few we will be gone! The only way to go forward, when it's all said and done, is to win games. Just don't se that happening under our current coach as I don't believe he has the respect of the players. It's one big reason I don't mind the idea of a petition. Don't care if we look like another Richmond or not, we already look a rabble anyway in the eyes of others, just want something to happen.
