Perhaps it wasn't Gardner he went to see but Peterson.

Why would Denis have to go see pick # 56 or something with his very own eyes???

You don't need a draft camp to choose between Gibbs or Hansen.

The club has a coach (Denis Pagan) it wanted to dump, and Pagan is seen to be residing on Death Row, despite a contract for two more seasons.

The media release this week from president Graham Smorgon, reaffirming what the club says is its youth policy, further undermines Pagan.

Surely the board is playing out a plot to freeze him out, to force him into submission.

That's if the Smorgon board survives long enough.

that would be the scummy way of doing it... Browns way is the right way.
Pay the guy out and you both move on...

Especially when this board was the one that signed him up to that contract.

Nah. Bring it on. Least Den Den has one supporter on TC.

And Melvey makes great sandwiches, too.

And why are Pagan and Sticks in that rumour choosing the pick???

If thats fair dinkum were done!!!

Before the Brisbane game, Sticks was on the radio talking about picking the older players. He said something like "going into the Adelaide game I (Sticks) said to Denis, I think you'll need some bigger bodies this week to compete, so if you want to play some of the older blokes, I'll back you"

So which one is for and which one was against playing the kids?

Wolfister run out of your one percenters contribution?
I knew this would happen... i tipped it...

Maybe you cant read... i already said. Sticks has been pushing for the kids to play and Denis has been playing them kicking and screaming didnt i??.. and this has been part of the friction???

Any other questions??? :-D

Maybe you can't read oh great one... Sticks said on the radio that prior to the Adelaide game he went to Dennis and told him he needed to play the older bodies.

Pity that doesn't fit your latest made up tabloid theory I guess.

Brown's way... which is effectively bullying... that's a surprise that you'd be advocating that Mr Synbad... :o

Me, too ... obviously. Sticks' flip-flopping is really pissing me off.

Loved him as a player but, geez, he's got hands all over the mess we're in now.

Maybe someone else told GWS to write it? :P

Denis and Sticks are both to blame for the current situation, along with the board, the players, and the supporters.

The club is a rabble.

It pains me to log on here everyday and see people bagging everything and everyone...

I can see imporvement in our team, i really can, and while i dont think the kids were used to their potential, having seen Blackwell last year and now this season, there was no way he was really ready for AFL last year, and im glad he didnt play his debut game until this year. We drafted skinny kids and they needed time.

If Denis had thrown them in from the word go people on this board would have called for blood saying they were played too soon and thats why they are all injured.

Honestly, i think a lot of people on the boards make their mind up to love or hate someone and regardless of fact, rhyme or reason will continue to do so.

I'm not naming names but for christ sake, for the clubs sake, keep an open mind and try and understand whats happening.

As i have said in a previous post, we are at one of our lowest points in history, slightly higher than 2005 and a bit mroe higher than 2002 so lets try and band together, the club needs our support.

And Browns way is seeing a problem and fixing it and not sitting back...

No surprise you enjoy being passive....

Nobody tells me what to write.

Well, except that little green warty thing with the frothing mouth who hides behind what's left of my frontal lobe.

I'd still prefer the bottle in front of me but thems the breaks... :?
